This is perfect for when you need an Erlenmeyer flask. I needed two Erlenmeyer flasks so I ordered I ordered two of these Erlenmeyer flasks. One of the two Erlenmeyer flasks arrived shattered in pieces but I got a replacement Erlenmeyer flask very quickly.

I've just been using this to heat water for making coffee with a pour over set up. I wrap a cloth around the neck when grabbing it to prevent burns. It makes it easy to measure the right amount of water. Gentle heating has not cracked it. The general quality is pretty good, but not on par with more expensive brands.

I bought this item when the price dropped making it easy to select. It is a name I know and quite sturdy. A no brainer, I could have used our measuring cup in my kitchen. Today, I have a special flask for my chemical mixture.

These flasks are thin, sound thin, feel thin. Small flasks - thin wall sections - sure. My other glass feels better in my hand for what its worth. Bad QA or shipping from Amazon, only one package arrived usable. Two other packages were completely shattered, I knew as soon as I picked them up. No way the delivery person did not realize. In any case - lesson learned. Need reliable glass? Get it from a reliable source.

I have several sets of these and use them for a lot of stuff, none in a science lab or classroom. Unless you count my kitchen as a science lab. They (with cork stoppers) currently hold water, taco sauce from a taco kit, and homemade salad dressing in the fridge, M&Ms, peanuts and almonds on my counter, and flowers in my living room. The tiny one makes a really cute bud vase. With my soapstone countertop and these and beakers holding various foods, I guess I do kind of have a Breaking Bad kitchen! These are good quality and fun to have around.
