Your cart is empty.New Pyrex slim line media storage bottles provide easier handling and more efficient storage of media, biologicals, and other aqueous solutions. Slim line media bottles feature indented gripping zones along the sides of the bottle to allow easier and safer handling, and a new cap design that permits faster opening and closing. The caps are fully compatible with all standard "GL45" (45mm neck size) Pyrex bottles. Widely-spaced knurls (ridges and grooves) provide comfortable and ergonomic cap handling, and the narrow bottle diameter allows more efficient storage on shelves, refrigerators, or autoclaves. Bottles are graduated to their full working volumes. Pyrex slim line bottles are made from the same Type 1 Class a (ASTM e-438) borosilicate glass as standard Pyrex media bottles for chemical and heat resistance.

I bought these bottles so I could take mms during the pandemic when doctors would not prescribe effective treatments. Recently I needed a 3rd bottle so this was my choice again. I used the protocols that Brazil used to keep their population healthy. I like that the bottles are borosilicate glass for chemical and heat resistance. 1 liter with 10 markings. Very well made glass. Well packaged for safe delivery. I would buy again

I use this as a water bottle. After initial cleaning, this bottle doesn't give off any detectable scent or flavor to my water. I do find myself frequently having to clean it with hot water to sterilize it than others, but maybe preventing light somehow with a sleeve will help with that. The markings are also rubbing off, but due to the fact it doesn't add any undesirable or off taste, and give off a scent makes that not important. I seem to stray away from silicone seals these days as they always seem to give off a scent, and add a taste to things.Plan on buying a smaller one for portability, but this one is a good size for the day.

As a woman of science I'm a bit disappointed in myself over how long I searched for a water bottle under "water bottle" before getting my ish together and finally searching for "pyrex water bottle".The average social med influencer just isn't tapped into stiff like this (thankfully) so good quality gear is not exploited (knock wood).This bottle is DIESEL and may not be the one for you if you're looking for something lightweight and easy to carry. It is big, heavy, durable and for people with a bigger grip or "man hands" like me. (I'm ok with it...I fear no pickle jar š¤·š¼āāļø)I will say I promptly did away with the little plastic sealing rim/gasket that was around the lip of the bottle and I'm already ready to pay the price of leakage if that happens. This isn't a "casual toss" kind of bottle so I don't ever forsee it being sideways or carelessly handled. I'm also only planning on using it strictly for water.That being said I now also have to purchase an EXTRA LONG bottle brush because my standard one isn't quite cutting it. I'm including some pics for size ratio even though there are some pretty decent reviews up here already.Finally I would recommend this purchase if you're hemming/hawing. I bought mine at $29-something but I don't think these will stay affordable for long!

Extremely heavy duty and fits great in the hand, looks great.. can't wait to get pouring some agar dishes for mycology with this!!

I am not using this in a lab setting. I am using this as a daily water bottle. Itās been great, easy to clean with a silicone bristle bottle brush. There is a little plastic ring/gasket at the top of the bottle that needs to be popped off to properly clean. It has a comfortable grip, I never feel like itās going to slip out of my hand. The cap is very robust feeling plastic with good grooves that help ensure a nice tight seal when closing. Admittedly, itās pretty heavy when empty, and rather heavy when full. But thatās to be expected with a solid glass bottle.I absolutely love this bottle.

We ordered this to make larger badges of baby formula and it worked well for that purpose.Love that it can be sterilized 100% as both bottle and lid can be boiled in water to clean.Not sure about the no spill ring so we handwash that.Very happy with my purchase.

I love these Pyrex containers! They are durable, heat resistant and excellent for storage, measuring and pouring. I use them for pouring agar, and they give a nice even pour. No drips running down the side of the container. I own this brand of containers in numerous sizes, and I highly recommend them all.

Well made. Looks like lab grade equipment. Came with a plastic gasket that fits the mouth of the bottle, but has a well inside the orange cap that can accomodate a flat rubber washer (not supplied) if you want a better/different seal. The mouth is wide enough to pour liquids in without a funnel.I use it for keeping carbonated water from a Soda Stream in fridge. True capacity is large. About 1.2 liters. Fits well in fridge door.Quality product. Would buy again.

These are a bit pricey at $25 per bottle, but.... they are worth every penny and save me money and time. I have been looking for an inert (highly pure) glass in which to store my homemade colloidal silver solutions. If your glass in not very pure it will cause the solution to go bad faster. Previously I purchased some bottles here on Amazon that were around $5 per bottle and they while looking nice did cause the CS to change color over the course of a month or so. Since then I have been keeping the solution in an old well washed organic apple juice 1 gallon glass jug. Curiously it keeps the solution for over 6 months without degradation. It will begin to darken the yellow to amber color over time, but not nearly as drastically as the cheaper glass bottles that caused it to turn a grey to green color. Enter borosilicate glass from Germany.....Now, the CS solutions last a very long time without discoloring. I am very, very happy with this bottle. Not only is it a pure glass, it is also well made, being thick and durable. The cap is large and robust with a small plastic gasket that is removable and washable. The cap's shape and size make it easy to grip. The threads are large and it only takes a few turns to install or remove it. A very nice design indeed. I guess these were made with lab technicians in mind that may be using these on a daily basis. The quality is evident once you see one in person. The indented ribs on the outside of the bottle are a nice feature. I can grip the bottle very securely without fear of it slipping or of dropping it. Liquids pour from the opening without dripping or running down the outside of the bottle. I see that a lot of people are purchasing these for water or drink bottles for travel. I think a nice addition to this would be a neoprene sleeve. I will be looking for one. If you have found one that fits this bottle and you like it please comment below. I would appreciate it.I did also purchase a case of 10 borosilicate bottles that were not of the Pyrex Brand, but that are also very nice and of a very pure glass. It was around $100 for a case of 10. These are very nice too, just not quite as ergonomic or travel friendly.I wonder if they are selling more of these to labs and schools or to people who like to keep their water pure. Anyway, I like to write reviews for products that I get excited about and make me happy and this is one of them. Now I can store my CS solutions for much longer without worry of impurities going into the solution and rendering it useless. I took some photos so that you can get an almost "in person" look at it here on Amazon since the stock photo is kind of plain. Hope they help and if you get one I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
