Superior 12" bass driver for the cost. Excellence for low frequency reproduction, low free air resonance (for warm bass full of body) and can handle heavy punishment of power. Highly recommended.

Using these to bring new life to some old Jamo speakers and a blown MTX subwoofer. Cabinets were in great shape but the speakers had long since fallen apart. The sound reproduction is clear and after around 30 hours of use the speakers have broken in making the sound more enriched. I would recommend this replacement speaker

I got these to replace the bad Peavey 12s in my Peavey Bass Amp, 120 watts @ 2 ohms. 3 of the 4 were shot after 40 years. The last original one is going now so I'll replace it also. These speakers worked out great for me. Replacement Peaveys at $70 each or $30 for the Super Pro. I don't know, they sure have worked for me in my big Peavey. Smooth powerful punchy bass. It's been a year and a half with the 3 Super Pros. I got a lot of performance for the price. Thanks! It's been 6 months now with all 4 Super Pros in the cabinet. They are awesome considering the amount of money I spent on these. Still clear and full of smooth LOUD concussion. They don't have dazzling looks, but then they make sound now don't they.

I've seen some negative reviews on this speaker, one particularly stating that the item they received didn't look like the one in the pictures. I'm here to state that the pictured woofers are exactly the ones I received, so that myth is dispelled. I love their snap release/hold wire contact. It makes them very easy to attach wires. You can use bare wires or tinned with solder, whichever you prefer. Now to the sound. Being that these woofers had a slightly lower output, 89dbl @ 1w, I was concerned they seem weak. Installed in my cabinets, they shine. Granted, my cabinets are stuffed with a pillows worth of batting (literally, I bought pillows and took out the stuffing to put in the cabinets) so I'm sure that helped with the output. They have nice response. These woofers are not meant to rock your door panels off or shake the house from it's foundation. They are good drop in replacements for old worn out woofers. They sound good, are capable of handling any amount of power I'll ever plan to run through them, and the rubber surrounds won't deteriorate like foam ones do. I'd recommend these as replacements but not for car audio.

I purchased 3 of these subs to use in an 'infinite baffle' arrangement in my sedan. At first glance they aren't too bad, thick paper cone, tinsel lead woven into the spider and spring-loaded terminals - all positives.BUT the steel basket is made of such thin metal that when you play the speakers, the basket flexes and chatters against the magnet making the speakers unlistenable. Also on all three speakers, the foam rubber gasket attached to the front of the subwoofer was glued on slightly off kilter, partially covering up several of the mounting holes. Pathetic QC, but what can you expect from a $30 speaker? Also, the actual speakers don't look like the pictures you find online.
