These new tips are larger than any others they've ever carried, so they have been aptly named "Monster Tips".

Good solid sturdy clamp. Only the clamp band is stainless. The stainless steel they use has not been polished at all--it's quite dull. If you want something flashy you will need to get out your metal polishing tools and shine it up yourself. The nut, bolt and washers are ordinary zinc coated. Of course, you wouldn't want a stainless nut and bolt since stainless fasteners aren't strong enough to handle the kind of torque I apply to an exhaust clamp. The center spacer is pot metal. The 2.25" sizing as far as I can tell is accurate. 5 stars because I really have no criticism. It's exactly what I needed.Edit one year later--noticed the clamp was loose after 8000 miles of use. Removed, and found the pot metal center spacer had broken in half. If you understand these clamps and how they work, that spacer is extremely important to getting a good strong clamp on your pipe. A product is only as good as its weakest component. Downgrading my review to 2 stars.
