It's not possible to lower the music volume but keep the microphone volume high. The microphone volume goes down with the music volume, so there's really not much point in the microphone volume dial. Huge bummer.

This is a review before I use it at the event. This is based on opening up the package and testing it out.I am a recording engineer as well as a live sound engineer. I have been in the music industry for over 30 years. Here are my thoughts. My LIKES:1. My first reaction was how lightweight it was. I expected it to be heavier. So that's a plus for anyone lugging around equipment.2. I do like that I can connect my phone or device via Bluetooth or even a USB or Micro SB Card in the back if I wanted to have songs already downloaded onto something.3. Has a small remote to control volume, mute, play, pause, forward, backward and anything else you want to do for your songs. It only works from behind the speaker. So if you are out in the crowd or anywhere in front, it wont work, so you must be behind the speaker for the remote to see the small LED screen in the back.4. It has a built in noise gate. Which means, if I am not speaking into the microphone, the system will cut out any noise and make it sound muted. Once you start talking, it allows the voice to come thru.My DISLIKES:1. If you are looking to have decent bass and good low end, you will probably be disappointed. Its mildly okay but does not push low end very well. If I turn the bass knob up, it more or less makes it more muddy. If I crank the highs, its super harsh on the ears. In fact I had to turn the high end down just because it has incredible high end. I do however like the fact that I can add my own Subwoofer to the back with Speaker cable. Think as if I plugged in subs into my car. I'll have to test it out.2. For 800W, I expected it to go much louder, so the volume push is okay. Just expected more.3. I do like the fun colors around the speaker. I wish there was an option to go thru deferent modes. It has one mode and that mode is either pulsing to the music like crazy or whenever I speak. So the colors turn multiple times very fast.4. Never been a fan of the "Echo" feature on these Speaker/Karaoke machines. Its the dumbest thing and I cant stand when people talk and use the echo. Like, why?5. It would be nice to add a pouch or pocket of some kind on the side or something to hold the power cable, remote and your microphone and cable.Other than that, its a 3 star for me. At least it rolls around like luggage.

Not made to be connected with a mic, doesn’t work as a mic PA system, there are similar reviews saying static and delayed picking of voice. Avoid if that’s what you wanted it for.

THIS WIRELESS PRTALABLE PA SPEAKER SYSTEM IS WHAT i EXPECTED. IT SERVES MY PURPOSE, PLAY MY MUSIC WITH DECENT SOUND-PANDORA SOUNDS GREAT PLAYING THROUGH IT. I WILL TRY OTHER THING WITH IT LATER. NOT A BAD PRICE EITHER! IT WILL BE MY ENTERTAINMENT IN THE PARK. I don't understand the watts, I expected 800 watts to sound louder than my 300 watt speaker. Overall, I'm satisfied wth this item. I got to understand more about the wattage thing...

This speaker has great sound, radio reception, and fun lights that move to the beat of the music. It was easy to connect to my phone via blutooth and has worked exactly as I needed it to work. The handle and wheels make it easy to transport as needed, and it is light enough to pick up and carry as well. I purchased the speaker in order to teach fitness classes and I'm very happy with the results.

I've been teaching Music Together outdoors for the past few weeks and wanted a speaker and wireless headset to preserve my voice and not strain to project. This speaker has been perfect for my parents to hear me, and is lightweight for easy setup and breakdown. I can connect my phone via bluetooth to play music when needed and sing with the recording as well. It was a good price point and I am pleased with the purchase.

Absolutely LOVE this speaker! We have a huge yard and were having a hard time finding a radio that we could hear when out working in our yard, decided to give this one a try and so glad we did! It really projects clear and loud! I love that it’s so portable too and the charge lasts forever! But most of all I love that it has FM radio so I don’t need to have my phones bluetooth running off it all the time! Definitely recommend this speaker! Great price too!!

My wife bought me this product about three weeks ago. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it has surpassed all of my expectations. The only reason I wanted one was so I could put in my flash drive that holds literally thousands of songs on it and listen to real music. I have had nothing but disdain for "radio" for several decades now and I never even bother turning it on. I'm old (67) and I didn't even know these things existed until about two years ago. I'm in heaven now listening to music that I like with no commercials, news, sports, weather, etc. The sound quality of this speaker is excellent. I thank you for making a product such as this and I'm praying it lasts for a long time!

This speaker is just OK, not super high quality. It is fairly loud, but I get a faint hiss noise from tweeter when Bluetooth is connected. I was hoping for more bass for the size of this speaker. It LOOKS like it’s going to be loud like subwoofer but it’s just OK, I own a JBL Flip Bluetooth speaker and it is equally as loud as this and it’s only the size of a soda can. Granted this Pyle speaker has a little more bass than my JBL Flip. For the price it does the job but I wish i spent a few dollars more and got the larger version of my JBL Bluetooth speaker. You get what u pay for and this is a budget speaker from China. The enclosure is made well but the media digital controls where you select which mode you desire is cheesy. The audio control knobs are decent and easy to read and adjust. I bought this to connect to my digital projector for sound for outdoor movies and it works OK. Was hoping for loud audio and heavy bass but it’s just adequate.
