It’s loud. Has good light display. Retro look is what I wanted. Manual EQ is classic touch. Not a bass machine. Decent bass, but not that thunder I was hoping for. But, for around $150 bucks you can’t go wrong. It is perfect for my retro basement. Great all around sound and clarity. But if mega bass is what your after it’s not here. Super loud poppy bass for rock/country but not a hood head turner.UPDATE: switched out the woofers to Pyle red label 4ohm. Ya, they are cheap, that’s the point. Triple the magnet size. WOW. Now it’s a bass machine. Hits hard and nice lows for 10”s. Cheap upgrade definitely worth it if you crave that bass. I may even grab some full range 3” and swap out the cheap tweeters. Certainly wish Pyle would have put better components in this package, but it’s powerful enough to move a 300w rms woofer so if your up for some additional minor expense. ( I picked up the woofers for under 40 bucks) then you can turn this into something special.

I was reading some mixed reviews on here which made me a little hesitant. However, it just arrived and let me tell you, OMG. This things is loud and the EQ system is amazing. I plugged it up and was playing it and my wife thought it was from outside next door. The base on this thing is nice as well. And the lights add a really nice touch. Highly recommend this.

I like this speaker because of the level of sound output it can have when working with the built in equalizer accessible through the top. Sound quality is good enough for 99% of situations, and the only downside is you can't connect multiple of these speakers for better sound coverage. The bluetooth range is decent, but you have to stay within about 10 feet or it cuts out. You're better off using the aux cable that comes with it and hooking up a laptop or other music playing device you don't have to move often to not have to worry about your proximity to the speaker.Overall, very happy with this purchase!

This was my second Pyle Karaoke machine product. My previous version lasted 5 years. Unfortunately this one failed within 15 minutes of setting it up. I set it up to run it for a systems check. I bluetoothed my ipad with karaoke app and played some music first. Had a decent sound and volume and lights worked. Then I hooked up a microphone and started singing along. I then pushed the EQ button and adjusted the slider controls for the EQ settings. It squealed really loud, made a popping noise. Then the microphone volume was extremely low, even with the mic volume on full. You could then press the EQ button on or off and there was no noticeable difference like before. I swapped out microphones and tried mic port 1 and port 2 and no difference. Also the small tweeters rattled the entire time. I'm sad to say it appears the quality of Pyle products has gone down hill. This will be my last Pyle product purchase. This is the only one of two 1-star reviews I have ever given. I normally am very satisfied with my Amazon purchases. I'm not willing to give it another chance and order an exchange. Instead I ordered a karaoke machine from Sony. Twice the price, but a known brand name with great reviews.

This is an awesome speaker and so worth the money. The only thing I wish was that it had wheels on the bottom for easy transport. I am a fitness instructor and will have to haul this in and out of my classes. Its not terribly heavy though. Great sound that is adjustable. There is a guitar and mic hookup and controls. Bass and Treble sound controls. To connect to blue tooth you have to use the remote and press "mode" and keep pressing mode until the top says "blue" then find "Plye Speaker" on your iPod or device or you can plug in the adapter. There was no instructions on that and I wouldn't have know how to do that without reading other reviews. The lights on the speaker are as shown and looks great. This plugs into the wall and you have to press the on button on the back of the speaker. There is no mic included that is separate. There is no humming or buzzing sounds in the back ground. It works great for backyard parties and for Zumba classes. It is super loud. I use it for classes in a church fellowship hall that sits around 50 people. Even then I dont have it turned up all the way since it will be too loud.

Bought this for a New Year's Eve party at my house. If loud is what you looking for, this unit delivers in spades. My wife and I host parties occasionally and we typically use bookshelf Bluetooth speakers during these events. Our Bose Soundlink III has great sound quality for everyday listening, but when you use it for a party and have people dancing near the speaker the sound seems to be absorbed / drowned out by bodies, particularly the bass. I always feel that popular (small) Bluetooth speakers lack good old fashion bass when entertaining more than a handful of people. The Pyle PSUFM1035A is awesome and has more oomph than I could ever need (house party). I think the sound quality is quite good, just remember that this is one speaker (I know two woofers), so you will not have stereo sound. The woofers and tweeters light up to the beat with increased volume and bass, which I don't particularly care for, but my kids love. There are lots of input options, which makes this unit versatile. We've only used it once, but it's a keeper, and I'll likely pull this speaker out for the next block party. It's that loud.
