No where near 8 gauge wire

Here’s the problem. The value for what you get in this kit is great. Connectors alone at Best Buy will run you twenty bucks. Then add in the cost of the wire which is constantly raising in price and you got a great deal here for the price. The problem however, is that this kit’s “8 gauge” spade connectors that are supposed to fit/connect to the back of their own amplifiers terminal bridge- The place where you put the spade connector under the screws and tighten down, don’t fit! The width of the spade connectors are too wide. Only the supplied smaller 12 gauge spades fit the terminals, but they are for the speaker connections and only fit around 12 gauge wire, not the power and ground which need to be attached to the larger 8 gauge wire. There are no after market smaller spade connectors that fit around both and 8 and gauge wire and connect to a 12 gauge terminal bridge screw head. How are people connecting this to their marine Pyle amplifiers? I’d really like to know. This is a huge oversight by Pyle to not include the correct terminal connectors to fit their own marine amplifiers…

This is a real hook up it’s great bang for the buck the fact that you get a Capacitor with the wiring There’s simply no better do you online unless you just wanna pay $200 because you wanna pay $200 this will handle any amp and shake the road

Alright, so maybe (definitely) the wire isn't super thick. I have used these kits for multiple installs and always have extra pieces leftover and always have enough length of wire.I just used this to install a small cerwin vega powered subwoofer that peaks at 300w. The power wire is as think as the pigtail included with the amp, so it's plenty think. If you're like me and just installing basic entry level subwoofers, then this is fine. If you're going up in higher power equipment, grab you a better set with thicker wire. Otherwise, don't over think and just get the pyle kit.

Don't let the Pyle name fool you, this is a very nice amp kit. All of the wires in the kit are soft and flexable. I was impressed with the fuse holder as well. It's made of thick plastic and has rubber o-rings to keep moister out. Though the kit says it's for "marine" use, it's honestly no different than automotive kits (with the exception of the water resistant fuse holder, (which is a good thing for automotive installs). I would highly recommend.

The power wire is definitely not 8 gauge. Other than that, the speaker wire seems fine and the RCAs are good. The connectors are pretty cheap. Overall a cheap wire kit. I'd look elsewhere.

I went to Best Buy and all they had in stock was a $200 "Kicker" amp wiring harness, which I was not going to buy. I did some research and found this kit and it works great ! If you have an amp/sub(s) that pull a large amounts of watts like mine do (amp is 1,400w) then this kit is for you. The price may make this product seem cheap but it's great ! Very little dim in the lights when the bass hits. I'm satisfied with it.

I bought this to use for a small single amp install (under 200 watts). I opened up the package and looked at the power wiring. It's borderline fraudulent to advertise this as 8 ga wire. It has a thick plastic casing to give it an 8 ga diameter but the amount of actual copper wiring is closer to 12 or even 14 ga. I had a small amount of actual 8 ga left over at home from years ago and the amount of copper in the Pyle kit is nearly half. I'm afraid this thing would short on me. I didn't even consider installing this. Shame on Pyle and Amazon for advertising this as such. The other connectors, etc. are ok in the kit but I may still send it back. All the wiring is very undersized compared to what's "advertised".
