I'm an adult beginner. Never played an instrument.I think the body of the instrument is a nice quality. Feels solid and not like a toy.Problem is the strings. It DOES NOT HOLD A TUNE. You can get it in tune and 5 minutes later it'll be out of tune. Very frustrating because you can't tell if it's your playing/fingering or the guitar that is making it sound wrong.I bought new nylon strings for GBE strings and that seems to help but it goes flat instead of out of tune. For the money on something that I'm not 100% sure I'll stick with as far as playing guitar is concerned this is a decent purchase. The tuning is a big hurdle.It does come with everything you need to start playing though. So maybe 3.5 stars.

I bought this for my son who just started instruments in school and this is great quality for the price. We love the sound quality and it is lightweight for kids to play easily. Super sturdy so you don't have to worry about it breaking.

I bought this guitar to learn on after I found a full sized dreadnought too big for me. This is a very cheap guitar. Obviously, you get what you pay for. The strings that come on this are awful. They cannot hold tuning at all and make it sound like a toy. I replaced the strings with an $8 set from Ernie Ball and it sounds and plays so much better. I also had to file down the plastic part of the bridge. Both the bridge and the nut are plastic, and the bridge is way too high. Once I filed grooves in it for the strings, they sit much better. The default bridge height makes this guitar much harder to play. All of that said, you aren’t likely to find a new guitar any cheaper and with my tweaks it’s a decent learning instrument.

I did not have enough time to return/exchange before Christmas... Purchased a black guitar but received a brown/wood one. Disappointed, but the guitar seems to be decent quality for a beginner. Strings will need to be tightened a few times before keeping a tune since they are nylon.

The guitar is visually great, and the accessories it comes with are nice as well. The thing I didn’t like is the bottom 3 strings (GBE) are plastic, and wouldn’t maintain a tune. I’m not sure if it’s because they are plastic or something else (I am just starting out so perhaps I’m doing something wrong) but it was a bit discouraging since it didn’t sound as good when it’s out of tune. However, The tuner it came with was very easy to use and made it simple to retune so that was a plus. I think for someone starting out it’s a good option. I will be returning mine for another brand though as I’m not a big fan of the plastic strings.

The base of the guitar was cracked from the neck of the guitar resulting in flex of the neck and pushing the strings up away from the frets and difficult to play. My son was in tears each time he practiced as it was taking so much effort to press down on the strings. Our music teacher realized what was happening and told us to go burn the guitar as it was literally firewood and useless. A truly defective instrument causing immense frustration. We have since purchased another guitar and my son came out from his lesson with a smile! This instrument was like this when we bought it but not being a guitar player myself, I figured some "crack" between the base and neck where the two pieces come together was normal and now I can't return it...do not waste your money.

Very happy with my purchase of the 36” guitar. My 9 year old daughter asked for a guitar for Christmas and I did a lot of research for a good learners guitar without breaking the bank. I wanted something that sounded good but if she decided she doesn’t like it I wouldn’t have wasted a lot of money.It’s the perfect size for my daughter to comfortably hold while learning and yet my uncle was able to pick it up and play it comfortably as well.It comes with a tuner, extra strings, strap, soft case and picks.The tuner was easy to use and it sounds really good.I would recommend for any beginner.
