Very good effective spray. Very easy to mix with understandable directions and safety precautions.

I bought this because I've always had problems with mealybugs infesting my goldfish plants. I have tried every neem oil and granules you can imagine and it never really helped at all. After watching Billy the Exterminator 🤣 I looked up pyrethrin to see if I could use that on the mealybugs, and this brand stated that it would kill them. I mixed it up and sprayed all of the plants in the same window as the goldfish plant to make sure they didn't spread. I will say that the smell was quite extreme, I left the room for a while just to be safe. About a week later, I see no mealybugs or egg sacs. The only thing I had an issue with is that any of my pilea leaves that collected the pyrethrin ended up with chemical burns. I pruned a lot of the worst ones before I thought to take pictures, but you can still see some of the burns in the photos. So my advice... if anyone sprays this on a pilea, I suggest rinsing it off after a few days to make sure it doesn't do this. Otherwise seems to be a great product! After having to throw away my previous goldfish plant because the mealybugs got so bad, and then fighting the infestation on this one for several years, I am glad to be rid of them.Update:If you use this on indoor plants, I suggest rinsing them off after it's had a few days to work. I noticed that especially on plants with more delicate leaves, they started to smother, which makes sense since this is an oily substance. I had some leaves that started to turn brown and fall off. So I took a mister and saturated the leaves, then used towels to soak up the water so it wouldn't pool on the leaves.

I planted three small passion fruit vines in a large pot on our balcony using a new pot and new potting soil, and their growth was stunted from the start, by what I eventually determined to be an aphid infestation. Those buggers were likely either in the new potting soil or on the newly purchased vines. I tried to control them with insecticidal soap to no avail. I was spraying them so heavily and so often with insecticidal soap that the leaves started to dry out. The insecticidal soap killed all visible aphids nearly immediately, but they would be back in full force in two or three days regardless of how many times I applied it.I used this product once, mixing in accordance with the label, spraying the passion fruit vines very thoroughly, and it knocked out all of the aphids for good! To my surprise, follow up applications were not required. I found this a bit puzzling because of what I read about aphids being so difficult to control, requiring multiple treatments with different types of insecticides. From now on I will default to this product to control listed pets. I would not bother with insecticidal soap on aphids again. Aphids are tough buggers but treatment with this product eradicated them with one treatment! The aphids I eradicated with this product in a single treatment were green aphids. I don’t know the exact species but I live in San Diego if that’s any help to you. Good luck.

I've tried all kinds of products over the last four seasons to control the whiteflies that infest our six grapevines every year. Nothing has worked until now! This pyrethrin stuff worked over night and I've only applied it about 4 times in total and we are now going on more than two weeks without a single whitefly! There use to be thousands of them - no more. Works excellent! I highly recommend it.

Works very well but I have come to prefer spinosad for most purposes. Neem oil based insecticide is my first line of defense but this is a little bit of a stronger/quicker working option than that or others I use (kills on contact vs 3 days like spinosad). I've had it burn plants a tiny bit but they recovered very quickly so not a big deal (I probably used it too concentrated as well). I'd definitely recommend you keep some of this in your organic gardening toolbox if you have had recurring pest issues that other things haven't worked on but if it doesn't work then try something that contains spinosad (or both) or predatory insects.

This organic pesticide works well, BUT it has a lot of cautions. It is potent for a 10 hours then becomes safe for beneficial insects. Lots of other pesticides stay around, in the ground, on plants etc almost for ever. This one has a short kill time, unlike Roundup. The bottle measures our the correct amount. This is not to be over used or measured inaccurately. They really help with that. The instructions, especially the cautions for bees and other insects are clear, concise and helpful. The plastic bottle is excellent quality and will not degrade soon inadvertently causing problems.
