PVC (polyvinyl chloride), also known as vinyl, is a durable, nonconductive plastic that resists corrosion, many chemicals, and oils. The shim stock is color-coded for thickness identification.
Shim stock is very thin material that can be fabricated into specific shapes.

The product itself is what I expected it to be. Unfortunately, there are several large permanent creases that make a large portion of this product unusable. As you can tell from the photo, the shipping box looks fine. They shipped a already damaged product to me.
