I chose these to use with a cabinet door in a desk I am constructing, but I ended up having to buy another product to use instead. I was surprised at the amount of travel these latches had when you release the spring! They come straight out quite a ways, so I felt like a swinging cabinet door might put a side load on them over time and mess them up. Also, the spring seemed too strong for a cabinet door. I don't want to have to push it that hard to close it. That might be fine for a big, heavy door, but not for a cabinet door in my opinion. I can't see myself ever using these, so I will probably give them to my uncle.

Our new cabinets did not have to fronts flush with the sides, so the mechanism.was far back from the door. We had to send it back. However, it looks great and I'm sure it would work in the right cabinet.

Decided to add a simple storage area next to my washer and dryer but had minimal area for a tall door and want it to give it a minimal, almost hidden look. these push-to-open door latches were the perfect solution to accomplish this. The build quality is impressive, with a heavy-duty construction that feels durable and reliable. The magnets are strong enough to securely hold the door closed while still allowing a smooth push-to-open action. The magnet held tightly for 2 weeks, unfortunately it is no longer holding and the door is swinging open in its own again. It was easy to install and worked well originally.

I installed these on a cabinet in my kitchen. I think the push to open functionality works well. It's reliable and would be strong enough even for a heavier door. Unfortunately the magnet is very weak and does not function at all as a "latch". I don't expect a super strong magnet, but one of my doors hangs open a few millimeters by itself, and I was hoping that this would at least hold it closed. This offers effectively zero resistance or hold. Alas, for my needs, I'll be getting a different set with a stronger magnet.

Install is a bit of a hassle, maybe have someone around to hold them in place while your tightening the screws. Works great, hope they don't break.... They just look like they are gonna stop working soon....
