About this item

  • Dolly Wheel Lock Washers Fits 5/8" Dolly Axle Rods: With an outer diameter of 1 inch, these pushnuts can fit unthreaded 5/8-inch dolly axle rods snugly
  • Premium Quality Spring Steel Push-On Pushnuts For Low Torque Applications: 0.2 inch thickness and simple design but they are one of the most efficient ways to keep wheels in place for low-torque outdoor equipment like dollies, hand carts, and lawn wagons
  • Oiled Phosphate Finish: Phosphate coatings prevent corrosion on steel parts. It has a strong surface adhesion, preventing wear and improving friction-induced wear. The oil on the pushnuts' phosphate coating serves as a sealer to ensure the effectiveness of the phosphate's corrosion-resistant properties
  • Enhanced Stability: Using pushnuts effectively tightens wheel assemblies, reducing wobbling and enhancing the stability of your cart during use, leading to improved safety and performance
  • Easy Installation: The push-on design makes these pushnuts simple to install, saving you time and effort when replacing or securing hand cart wheels

Designed to fit 5/8 inch hand truck axle shafts, these push-on pushnuts are perfect for most hand carts and wheel replacement parts
This 10 pack pushnut serves as both a retainer and fastener for low-torque wheels, providing a balance between strength and durability
The spring force produced by its teeth allows the pushnut to create more friction between itself and the shaft increasing its rotational resistance
The black coating on these pushnuts is a zinc phosphate coating with an oil sealer. Zinc phosphate coatings strongly adhere to surfaces either through immersion or spray

I tried installing no fewer than five of these before I gave up. Each one split and broke apart as I tapped it gently into place.

Well I went through 4 of them all splitting in half. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Save your money, buy elsewhere.

These push nuts work well to hold dolly wheels on the axle. They’re very easy to install. When installing them use light taps with a hammer. If you hit them too hard they’ll split apart, which is the case for any brand of these you’re using. I usually put them on far enough to allow for just enough play that the wheel still spins freely. The flat side goes against the wheel. They’ll hold up until you need to replace the wheel, which in some cases they can be reused or you’ll have to put a new one on. They are plenty thick, they fit perfectly and are a great value for the price.

I tried to put on just one axel and it broke in half. I tried 2 more times, both of those broke in 2 pieces as well. They are the right size but too brittle. I give up. Returning to Amazon
