I purchased these capsules specifically for the use of Peppermint Essential Oil internally for my IBS. These capsules have a delayed release; therefore the oil is only release in your small intestine, where you want it, and not in your stomach. I find the capsules are much better than the ordinary empty capsules, but on occasion you will still feel a burn in your stomach from the oil. I believe this is because these capsules are not specifically designed for the use of oils and a bit might leak out in the stomach. It is a good product and I am quite satisfied with my purchase. There are no aftertaste and although I can swallow the capsule easily, I would rather opt for the size 0 for my next purchase.

I use these capsules for vitamins and supplements that normally cause my stomach to bloat. Most of my supplements I just put inside these capsules. I do have vitamins that I have to open up the original capsule and put into these capsules. I am a repeat buyer. These work great for me

I just started using these capsules within the last couple weeks. So far so good. I have been filling them with an orac energy greens powder I learned about for CFS. The capsules are as expected. The size is nice, I would of liked them to be bigger I think so I wouldn't have to take so many of the powder i'm using though.

I wanted something I could put my oregano oil in and these worked great. I still only do a few at a time because I am worried that the capsules won't hold up for very long. However, they work well enough that I can make several days worth in advance.

Mizo was mistaken. The PurecapsUSA capsules do not dissolve in water, nor in muriatic acid (hydrochloric acid, almost identical to stomach acid). I tested these capsules and ordinary gelatin capsules. In water, both soften and expand, but do not dissolve. In hydrochloric acid, gelatin capsules dissolve in 10 minutes, but the PurecapsUSA capsules maintain their integrity after 30 minutes. I reencapsulated No More Grey catalase and found I have very good energy. I got the idea from Suzy Cohen's Catalase, which use DR capsules (delayed release). By reencapsulating, I have effective catalase at 1/5th the cost!

Purchased these approximately 6 months ago. I have encapsulated numerous things & they work great. I first separated all they capsules for easy use. If you are not familiar with making your own capsules, keep them sealed & moisture free as possible or they could be ruined. I remove what I need then reseal the bags/ jars in between use & have not had any problems. Definitely recommend.

Easily holds 16 drops, but I usually do about 9 and then top with carrier oil. I never experience indigestion or feel like the capsule has opened in my stomach, so the enteric coating seems good.
