Great product. Does 'what it says on the tin'. Can be hard to insert a paintbrush handle, as the clasps are very tight together but I insert the handle of a joint/filling knife into the centre, thus opening the clasps without labouring it with my hands :-) and it works. Once you've got the brush/roller inserted, it does a terrific job at (a) removing residual paint; and (b) drying the brush thoroughly in seconds.

This thing is nuts. It gets paint brushes dry with a few plunges of the handle. It's a Purdy product which is a brand that makes durable products. Definitely a time saver when cleaning brushes.

This is a well-made product that works exactly as intended. It gets brushes clean and dry very quickly, the materials and finishing are very good, and there are no problems with fabrication, metal finish, etc. so I think this will last for a long time. This is the best tool I know of for quickly drying brushes after cleaning.

As long as your paint brush handle fits, this device will spin the water out really well. Way better than shaking the brush and hanging it bristle end down to drain, which is what I've done for decades before finding out there is such a thing as a brush spinner. There is a wide variety of brush handle widths and thicknesses, and this unit is somewhat rigidly fixed and will only expand slightly to grip a handle. I knocked off a star because that could be a problem for a lot of brush handles, limiting its usefulness. If they could design it to accept a wider range of handle thicknesses, this thing would be gold.

I’ve always been told by my carpenter father that the most important thing is to use the right tool for the job. I wondered whether I could make my husband’s painting chore easier and threw in search terms for things I wasn’t sure existed. Here we are. I initially read about something that attached to a power tool, but the reviews were lukewarm, so I went with this. After figuring this out, it works like a dream, and painting around the house is waaaaaay easier when you don’t have to massage a paint brush like you’re massaging someone’s hair over a shampoo bowl. Don’t hesitate to buy this.

This paintbrush spinner is well built and really spins the paint brush until it is dry. It is a bit difficult to insert the paintbrush, but the paintbrush definitely stays in place. Good product.

Purdy 140755200 Brush and Roller SpinnerPeople complain that the jaws that hold a brush are very stiff and hard to insert a brush. True, but it needs a firm grip in order to keep the brush from flying off. I use a block of wood to open the jaws, making the insertion of the handle a little easier. Insert the block between the jaws and turn 45°. The block is about 1 1/8" x 7/8". You could use a larger block (1 1/4"), but it gets harder to turn. It works with standard size handles, but may be difficult to use with "fat" handles. There is a plastic piece on the puller end that holds the puller in place when not in use. Works ok, but can get in the way. It may break over time, but it is not essential to the function of the tool.Aside from the jaw issue, this tool works well. It flings dirt and liquid out of the bristles, leaving it almost dry. (Do it in a bucket or it will get all over your legs) It is essential for the proper care and cleaning of your good brushes. This tool, in combination with a wire brush, keeps your expensive brushes in almost new condition. There are no complicated internal workings to this tool. Occasional oiling may be needed if you let it get rusty, but I'm guessing this tool will last until I loose it.I would recommend this type of tool to anyone who wants to clean their brushes. I've seen them used for paint rollers effectively, but have not done it myself.

A must for painting - allows easy and thorough cleaning of Brushes & RollersPut them on the end of the device and lower into an empty 5 gallon bucket and spin away the paint from brushes and rollers. Multiple rinses are probably needed but done in under 3 min. It does not need electricity to use this. Just pull and push the handle for a VERY effective cleaning. You may not be buying new rollers and brushes again ;)
