My grandson and his little sister loved this! So easy to open — though it takes a little practice to get the knack of closing it properly — very much like windshield sun blocks — it isn't impossible when you focus on where the four rounded corners of the structure is, and folds down flat to about one-third of its size. It is ingenious, such that after staging numerous puppet plays for almost a week, my family was about to fold and pack it into their suitcase. I hope someone makes a video of how they folded theirs!

Whoever made this had a great idea. I like how it’s easy to store as puppets aren’t an every day play item for the kids. It’s an interesting concept that brings a lot of fun and entertainment on a rainy day.

This puppet theater is such a fun addition to our play room! It's huge and can fit at least 3 kids inside. We had lots of puppets already so we've been having lots of puppet story time. My kids love it and even if we're not using the puppets, they still play house in it or use their imaginations to play. We don't have a huge space so I love that it folds flat for storage, it doesn't take up much space at all! Perfect for small spaces or classrooms!

My boys love puppeteering, so I wanted to try this theater since it doesn’t take up much space. They were excited when it arrived and liked how easy it was to set up. While it’s lightweight and not the sturdiest, it works well for us. They’ve put on puppet shows for each other, their cousin, and even their uncle, who loved the performances. It’s foldable, but figuring out how to fold it back down takes a little effort. I like that it’s a space saver and easy to transport. There was a small stitching issue in the back where the “door” didn’t fit properly, but it didn’t stop us from putting on shows. This theater has been great for sparking their imagination!

Children's puppet theaters are rarely ever great unless you spend a ton of money on one. Even then, assembly and having a place to store it are problems. As someone who's tried out many puppet theaters, and even made puppet theaters, I can say this one is a decent attempt, but don't expect your kids to put on many shows.I love that it's a pop up that can fold back down into the bag. Getting it to fold back down may be a challenge for some people, but it will work. It just takes practice. It's extremely lightweight, which isn't the greatest feature of a puppet theater (blowing around and falling over). But this item is a good option for people without a lot of space. The size is not ideal for an actual puppet theater. This will fit a couple of small kids, maybe one school ager. To put on a show, you have to have space for the kids as well as puppets/props.This theater won't accommodate that. But since your kids are unlikely to use this much for actual shows, it's not a real problem.Don't order this thinking you'll turn your kids into Jim Henson. Let it just be a plaything. Expect it to quickly become a house, tent, or cave soon after opening. They will turn it on it's side and crawl in and out. They'll try to load it up with toys, and try to crawl through the puppet stage window. That's all OK. Occasionally, you might see a puppet pop up through the stage window, which will be a nice surprise. Enjoy it. Let this item fuel imagination how ever it can.

I don't know how this was originally gotten into this little bag but never going back - that said it does easily fold flat for storage. Good size for 2 young kids to fit at a time. About 3.5-4 ft. Has "curtains" that tie back for the show. Very light weight so easy to move around but also means easy to knock over. I took a couple of stars off because the quality was a bit off - like the backdoor not being big enough to actually attach on both sides. Nothing that would not make it usable but little sloppy.

We use a cardboard box right now for our theater it works well but doesn't fold flat or have much flair. Wanting something easier to put away I figured popup way to go. I haven't been able to find any taller than this, would prefer higher for a more normal puppet theater experience this it is pretty hard to be below the bottom edge. I also couldn't find any that look nicer than this one. There is a bit of a gap on the sides of the curtains I might fix with some velcro (doubt it will bother any kid but I of course notice it).The only alternative that I found that would also be easily put away were the doorway ones. I don't have a doorway though that would work easily for kids to put on shows, and I feel most of the time chairs and door ways are not in line. They do have the height advantage (as you can also control it) and some look pretty nice. All and all it isn't perfect but it is exactly what I was hoping existed (popup theatre) looks good, and the kid was ecstatic to see the step up from a cardboard box.Quality wise I think 4 stars is more in line, but again as there isn't anything better I figure it should get the best rating.
