This paint set is awesome! It has everything you need. It includes 8 canvases...some are pre printed with child images and the others are blank. The paint is pretty good. It's in small squeeze tubes in 24 colors and it has two sets of the paint. The brushes are okay, but I preferred to use my own. I like that it has a color wheel in this set. It's handy for kids to figure out what colors can be mixed together make another. One of our teen daughters has painted a few beautiful paintings using this set. The easels are handy to use as well. It also has two silicone cups as well. I use one for cleaning the brushes and one for rinsing then.It's a really good set! It's great for kids, teens, and even adults too. The paint is a decent quality, brushes are okay but good for a set like this, the canvases are a good quality too, and it's a nice set overall. My teen girls like using it, as well as myself.

I've been an amateur painter for 30+ years and this art set has me confused. Some components are great for older kids, while other parts seem made for young kids. The acrylic paints should only be used by older kids or younger kids with a lot of supervision. The professional color wheel is certainly for older kids, while the designs are for younger ones. The brushes are fine for beginners. The palette is garbage no matter the age. The easel can be used for display, but not while painting. I feel like they just threw together random items and called it an art set with no regards to age.My conclusion: Kids under 10ish will need a good amount of supervision particularly with the paint tubes. Older children could use better designs. Luckily, the set does come with two blank canvases.The included palette may be of very limited use, but old take-out containers or plastic lids would work better.I know I mentioned a lot of cons, but I do think it'd be a good starter set for a tween artist. Or maybe a fun paint night for parents and little ones.
