This makes shooting with just about any camera an amazing exerience!! I have always shot bad videos because I tend to shake a tiny bit making the video hard to watch. With this stabilizer the table have turned! This is a fantastic add on for any enthusiast! Highly recommended

This is a good all around starter kit it comes with everything you need to get started and the light is super bright and the grip is sturdy and makes the footage more stable. I would say this is really great value for the money!

I plan to use this with a Panasonic camcorder, and I see it being beneficial in a couple of ways. (1) Trying to hold that camera steady with the built in strap on the side is not always easy. In my initial tests, I found the Handle Grip much easier to hold and move steadily. This isn't a gimbal or Steadicam-type mount. You do have to hold it steady yourself, but it provides more options for easy holding and moving if you have a lot of shooting to do.One example of how I used it - I held the top of the Handle Grip and lowered it in front of my cat to get good pictures or videos without having to lie down on the floor. The screw mount for the camera can be adjusted by several inches to fit different cameras comfortably, which is nice.I took a star off because while the box pictures the different accessories that come with the kit, it doesn't say what anything is, and it doesn't come with any kind of manual. I don't know what some of these things are.The phone clamp would not fit my smartphone in its case, and I didn't want to take it out of the case. I pulled the clamp to its full width, and I'm not sure it would fit anyway.Another bonus of using this Handle Grip is it separates the light from the camera. My camera has a built in light that's right above the lens, and it always adds unwanted glare. Using a separate light a few inches above the camera makes the picture look much better.I doubt I will use the light often, because it uses AA batteries, and I have two similar models that are rechargeable and put out about the same amount of light. That said, I could see where if you're shooting in a remote location and you don't have a large capacity portable power bank, you could take a box of batteries and keep going all day and night. The light is easy to use, in that it has one very obvious on-off toggle switch, and a dial on the side to dim or brighten. In that, it has my rechargeable ones with multiple hard-to-read buttons beat. It comes with two light covers - one is clear, the other is amber - and the one you're not using acts as the battery compartment cover, so that's well-thought-out as well.I ordered Stabilizer Kit 3, and it comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable, and I don't know why, because nothing that's included with this kit uses a USB cable.I expect to use this Grip a lot with my camcorder.

It makes moving and panning with my big DSLR much easier but it won't replace a true gimble. This is really a budget alternative to something a lot pricier. Good to have it in my kit and would buy it again. Simply put it's functional and won't break the bank.

On the bright side, this stabilizing handle provides for low angle positioning of a camera or phone with added stability. It includes accessories to accommodate cameras that take a standard ¼” mounting screw, phones and action cameras. It also comes with a ball-articulated mini-head that looks sturdy enough even for SLRs. It is very lightweight, so it is not a burden to add to the gear bag which is one big plus: there’s little advantage to such a handle if it is heavy and I would think hard before adding it to the gear I carry. Being lightweight makes it more probable it will be around when I need it. The instructions are all pictures, good color pictures, and little wording – great! On the downside, the stability such a handle adds is partly because it moves the center of gravity of the whole setup bellow the point of grip, making it stable and less prone to move, and partly because of the added mass. This handle is very lightweight, as a matter of choice between portability and high inertial mass / better stability. For a lightweight camera, like an action camera, this is less than optimal, except that a camera like GoPro has superb stabilization on its own.A second downside is that it comes with no Arca-Swiss adapter. This makes it cumbersome to set up and then remove a camera. For a DSLR I would be reluctant to confine the camera to this way of usage knowing it will take minutes to take it off this stabilizing handle. This forces me to buy an extra accessory to bring this handle to full usability potential. The construction is all plastic, which keeps it light. Looks well-made and rigid, I could not decrease my rating based on the possibility it may not be durable. And there is no mention of a warranty anywhere.Overall, to me this is half of a notch below a full five stars rating, so I will round up to five stars. Depending on your intended use, some of the less-than-desirable aspects may mean more or less to you.
