Good lens protector caps for front and rear lens of my insta 360 x3. Sticks well and doesn't let water in. Don't scratch up too easily they do make the seam more noticeable though so there is a tradeoff

Out of the box the lens guards seem to follow the curvature of the camera and the instructions are clear (even to a beginner). I haven’t tried installing the actual Insta360 Branded lens guards but based on videos I’ve seen online, this seems to follow the same procedure and installation was quick. There is a lens guard setting that you need to turn on that will hopefully improve stitching in your recordings. I didn’t have it on and it seemed to be fine. There is a glare when a strong light source from behind the subject that shows up but for every novice and beginner user (which I’m one of those), I think it’s better to have the protection of the lens than these slight glares.

Fits well, sticks well, and I'd much rather damage a set of these than the X3 lenses.I can't say how durable they really are, since I'm not really willing to intentionally bang the camera around, but they do stay in place well, and are certainly cheaper than a lens replacement, so having a spare set is probably a good idea just in case.

Easy to apply, no instructions really needed. These are very important for every insta 360 x3 owner to have as a camera lens replacement is way more expensive. My only compaint is that I can see a bit of the outline of the protector in the final video, which can be adjusted out with some of the settings in the insta360 studio app, but then causes you to loose some of the seam between the 2 cameras.

These are good for lens protection, specifically if you let your kids handle your x3, as my kids have scratched the lenses on both sides. But ultimately image quality suffers and the video tends to have too much inconsistency with the color casts due to the lenses. Also the light refraction is very bad when looking directly into the sun. Due to it being a 360 camera it’s not much of a choice like with other cameras.Ultimately I would never use this if not for my kids. I’ll probably wind up removing them, but it’s great for what it does if protection way outweighs picture quality.

After seeing several YouTube videos where people managed to break their insta360 lens, I decided to spring for some protection. I hope I never need to test it's protective qualities, but after the easy installation, I feel more confident mounting the camera to my motorcycle.Instructions came with a QR code to an installation video guide. After watching the short video once and following along a second time, the lens covers went on without a problem. They're stuck on with a strong sticker adhesive and come with a second set of adhesive disks if they ever need to be removed and reinstalled. The fit is perfect and the video quality doesn't seem to be effected, though I'm sure a more discerning eye would disagree.Highly recommended

These are easy to install, and stick well. They DO affect the image stitching, slightly increasing the zone the camera has to stitch - which is why the insta360 comes with a setting to adjust the stitching for lens covers. But the 360s stitching is imperfect in any case, and you really don't notice the difference.Otherwise, optically, there is no difference, except when the camera itself is in direct, bright sunlight. For the purpose of this review, I took a knife to the edge of the glass of one of the lens covers before installing it to see how hard the glass was, figuring the area I scratched wouldn't be visible due to stitching in any case. But I was unable to scratch the glass with a carbon-steel knife. That bodes well in case I ever drop it on gravel.

The PULUZ Insta360 X3 Tempered Glass Lens Guard Cover is a set of protective cover guards for the Insta360 X3 camera lenses. Initial variants were made of clear polycarbonate plastics. This cover is made of glass, which is better for scratch resistance and cleaning, though it may be more prone to cracking and less durable to heavy impacts compared to hard plastic versions. It also includes a total of 3 sets of sticky backings, cleaning cloths, and a pry tool. Comes in a useful clear plastic box for storing everything in one case. Works similar to other versions of cover guards, and quality will still be hindered under strong sunlight due to reflections of glares. It is a slight price to pay for cameras that aren’t under warranty anymore though. Overall this is a useful protective cover guard set made of glass for the Insta360 X3 camera.
