Installation:
1. Take out the mist maker and AC/DC adaptor, connect the DC plug.
2. Install the mist maker under water depth 2-2.8 inches (Best working water level: 0.6inch between mist maker sensor and water surface) and plug-in the adpator.
3. There is a cable cap on the power cord, adjustable, thats for prevent mist gathered into water droplets, flows out and affect other devices.

Baffle
Prevent water splash out from the water tank,
If you are not worrying about the water drops, please remove the baffle, this can help the mist maker create more mist, and get better mist performance.

I bought two of these misters for my cauldron build. They work very well. My caudldron was on the small side and I needed only one. For a larger cauldron you may need at least two. The light works well as provide a glow to the mist. I also use a water light (found at Menards) to make a brighter glow of green. All in all very pleased with this product. The price was half the price of Spirit Halloween version and looked almost identical.

This product worked great...for a week! Dont know if it was the cord/plug or what but would no longer turn on! I am so bummed.

This little mister is great!! I used it in a large cauldron that I put in my trunk for a trunk or treat event. All the kids thought it was super cool that there was real mist coming out of the cauldron and the smaller ones thought there was a real potion brewing. The color changing was a bonus effect and looked really cool as it got darker. The mister is pretty small, but I knew that before I bought it so I planned for it. I put a tub upside down in the cauldron and put a bowl of water on top of it so the mister was right up by the top. It wouldn't have been visible if I didn't do this, but worked great the way it was set up. I had to refill the water in the bowl about every 20 min or so, but it wasn't a big deal since I was standing there passing out candy anyways.

While the product did work when testing it for brief periods of time, I noticed that there was no way to get it to create mist without spitting water everywhere. I tried multiple water levels and it would eventually stop working altogether if the water was too high, but otherwise it would always spit. When I used the little cover to prevent it from spitting, it would barely release any mist. I decided to put a towel around it on the night when it was going to be used, and it basically spit so much water that it stopped working after 30 minutes. It also releases a small electrical current, so trying to adjust it by hand while underwater can cause some pain. I wouldn't buy it again.

I bought this to use in my cauldron for Halloween. I followed directions and was so pleased when it worked!! Looks so spooky flowing from my cauldron. Works like a charm.
