The hardest part of the install was getting down on my back on the garage floor to remove and replace the existing puddle lights. (I am 81 years old.) Still, the entire 4 door installation took less than 20 minutes. Perhaps, it would have taken even less time, had the lights been marked R or L, in order to be sure the Tesla emblem is oriented correctly for the R or L side of the car. At least a R and L pair were packaged together in two separate bags, making the guesswork a bit easier. So, I only had to reverse one pair.The little work to install them was worth it. The new lights are much brighter than the factory lights. The Tesla logo on the ground is crisp, and clear. They are not only decorative, but useful, to see the ground as you step out of the car. The factory puddle lights, by comparison, were diffused and not at all, useful. Furthermore, the upgrade is well worth the price, especially when compared to the new official Tessla puddle light now available at Tesla, as a do it yourself add on accessory. Tesla is charging $65 for only ONE pair or $130 for 4 lights. Moreover, the official Tesla puddle light projects only the word TESLA. There is no T logo. You pay far more at Tesla and get less.

These lights are super easy to install. The lights are bright and give you a better look to the car in my opinion. If you ever change your mind about them, you can easily swap the OEM lights back or mix and match if you want. Overall very happy and will update if anything changes!!

Stop reading the reviews and get these lights! My set wasn’t labeled L or R but simply check them before snapping in place, swap if necessary. They’re super easy to install, less than ten minutes for all for lights. Solid design, super bright and nice clear text with logo. The difference between the OEM lights and these is night and day!
