This product converts an 80 pin SCA drive to 68 or 50 pins, and provide Active termination. Use this product when the drive will be the LAST device on a 50 or 68 pin ribbon cable.

The adapter is taller than a normal 3.5 inch disk drive, so if you want to use this with stacked drives (or drives at the top of the case) you will be unable. Additionally, if you are using the 68-pin connector, you may experience issues under moderate to heavy system load unless a 50-pin SCSI terminator is installed on the 50-pin connector.
