I got this visor for my Shoei RS-SF, which uses the same CWR-1 visor as the RF-1200 that this is advertised for. This is definitely a no-frills visor. It came just wrapped in bubble wrap and tape (no box or fancy tags). Getting the tape and bubble wrap off without damaging the visor was a challenge. That said, it is a pretty good-looking visor that is visually clear for the most part. There is some distortion out to the sides where they have a raised bevel for the pinlock. It is a little darker than the Shoei-branded tinted visor that I have, and the mirrored finish looks pretty cool. The "deep silver-mirror" looks really good with my flat black helmet. I could find no flaws in the mirrored finish. There are a few sharper edges here and there that make it feel less refined than the real deal, but it is less than half the price (Shoei is $70). That said, the fit on the helmet was acceptable, but not dead-on perfect. The "snap" into the locked position is pretty mushy. That snap is important because that's the only lock for this design visor, and if your lock is mushy, you aren't going to get a good seal.

This visor works great! It's not too dark for night riding, and it provides a decent amount of glare reduction in bright sunlight. The pinlocks were easy to adjust, so my insert fits just as perfectly as it does in my factory visor. The quick release tabs were a bit mushy at first, but after working them in, they clicked in easily. I would definitely recommend these as a more price-conscious visor for the RF-SR.
