Started right up with no issues and had minimal scratches. Touch screen is good and even came with an OEM charger.

PS Vita was good and worked fine. Right stick doesn’t work and isn’t properly connected to the system. Had to fix by myself which contradicts the promise of a fully functional system.

Bought this ps vita after trying and trying to find one priced decent on marketplace with no luck! Paid 154 plus tax and came out right under 200 and this thing is in perfect condition! Plays perfectly as well! Played it all week long on a charge and couldn’t be happier! Pic is of granturismo which is also a good game!

I was a bit delayed with this review, but I wanted to make sure to test the functions of the Vita fully before I did, just in case. When the Vita arrived, it was BEAUTIFUL. For being listed as 'Very good' it should have been listed as 'Like new'. Other than some finger smudging on the front, and a tiny bit of dirt along the edges of the back hand resting areas, it was practically a new Vita. And so began the battery testing. When first charging the unit, I had to give it a VERY long time, but once it recovered from being bone dry, it's been delightful in running smoothly, charging quickly, and having no issues. From there, both ports (Vita cart and Memory cart) are in fine condition, and everything checks out. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I loved the colour of this device, simply stunning... arrived earlier than expected, not sure why it has not security labels or tapes on the box as you can expect on a new product but besides that it’s great, all documentation and cables packaged accordingly to the brand new standards and the quality of the vita is as described... also a nice thank note with the product. Absolutely recommended :)

I'm returning this item. Looks amazing came quick. But does not work!!! When I enter a game the system buttons stop working. Out of games they're fine but when I'm in game I can't even play. Thanks a lot Obama!

Fantastic! I am soooooooooooo in love with the vita! For anyone looking for reviews on whether or not to buy this, I suggest it highly! ONLY if you are okay with actually using the X button as Back as O the enter, BUT only in the menu, if you have regular games from the USA, they will function normally. The colors on the vita themselves are fantastic, the color of the screen and lighting is great. I think the other reviewers didn't realize, that the brightness settings are very easily adjustable. My fiancé (who is the accountholder, I just do reviews for items that are meant for me.) Has a regular ps vita 2000, borderlands version, he bought this a few months back, they look and act exactly the same. (minus that his is a black one with a black back, and mine is a white one with a lime green back) I thought it was slightly smaller at first, but I realized that it was because he had a case on his, then it was the color difference. If you like having a unique vita over your friends, TOTALLY buy this vita!!!!! The person I bought from was REALLY quick with shipping and the fact that it was in stock and they wasted no time!

this is a very good improvement over the old one. MUCH LESS bulky in this hand and more comfortable. yet, for me, i still need to buy after market grip for the vita. my hands gets tired.this is why i gave it 4 stars. i wish if sony included some sort of foldable grips. it needs to be like the dualshock in the hands to be comfortable.the feels great, it plays great and the extra 1GB internal memory is good. however, if you use a larger memory, which you will have to, you will not be able to use the internal 1GB. so you either install your games in the internal or external. because if you have an extra memory and want to play the games installed in the internal storage, you will have to switch off the vita and remove the memory then start it again (wait for it to rebuild the database) then you will see the installed games. its minor issue, but little annoying to be honest.the screen is a big shift from the old one. i have the old vita and when i put them side to side, i see minor difference. for me, and this is personal opinion, i would give up the edge in the screen for the extra 3 hours battery time i am getting. also, you can use any misc USB to charge this. however, you will need a 1.2 mA as a power source. so, the iphone charger will charge it, but it will take long time, and you will not be able to charge while you play. On the other hand, iPad charger can do the job.i mentioned the screen downgrade as personal preference. because, my brother for example, when he saw it, he said he will never buy one. he loves OLED screen on the old vita and he thinks 3 hours battery extra time is not worth it. he used an after market grip with a power source so he gets equivalent play time to mine. i dont think the screen brightness and color difference is major between the old and this, but this is debatable.if you never had a vita, and thinking of getting one, got to PSN website first and checkout what games they have. go to you tubes and watch breakthroughs and reviews for the games. it is not worth it to buy this unless you have a game you are killing to play.

Beautiful hardware. The system is fantastic and an upgrade over my white OLED 1000 - in every way.The screen is sharper and I can actually notice details in games, that were not able to be seen on the OLED models' screen. The system is lighter, but still has a weighty premium Sony feel. I really like the ergonomics of the larger handholds and rescued touchpad. The buttons are a lot more solid in feel (clicky), than the 1000 model, especially the much improved shoulder buttons.PSP games do look a lot better now in color and clarity; I can also play PS1 games without the fear of borders burning in image retention (1000 model can suffer burn in).The speakers have received and improvement and so have the resized and raised PS, Start and Select buttons. This is a Japanese system so X/O are swapped in function (confirm/cancel), this only affects the Operating System and is a non issue.Very thrilled with the new 2000.The seller packaged the item immaculately and shipping was fast and expedient.

Sony has trimmed 20 percent of fat from the original unit and it is also 15 percent lighter, the reduction is striking. It's much more comfortable to hold which was my main problem with the original Vita while the original Vita is somewhat ergonomic, it's hard to go back to after using the 2000-series. The new Vita does look better in one important way, though: color. It comes in six colorways, including the typical all-black and all-white options, but the other four use a two-tone effect that matches a colored back panel to a black or white facade. The effect is great — you can see the color coming through on parts of the system even from the front, and it adds flourish to an otherwise staid designSony touts a battery life of up to six hours gaming time for the PS Vita Slim which is more than the original. Sony has also swapped the OLED screen for a LCD panel. Some feel that it is a downgrade, maybe it is, but I hardly could tell the difference between the two nor could I care less, graphics are not everything. The PS Vita Slim has 1gb of internal storage meaning that games can be played without the need for a Memory Card like its predecessor, but if you plan on downloading games or you are registered to PS+, you might want to invest in a memory card, at least 16gb. You.You can't use this in tandem with a memory card, though the system will only recognize one or the other. The rear touch pad has been increased in size, probably done to avoid accidental presses which was also an occasional and frustrating problem with the original vita. . Taking a closer look, while the button layout has not changed much, the start, select and ps button are more circular making them much easier to press, the other buttons have pretty much the same feel. My overall thoughts are that the PS Vita 2000 is better than the original, more comfortable to hold and use, some may say that screen quality has decreased but I hardly could tell the difference with min and max brightness. While it does come with internal storage it cannot be used with the memory card, the system will either recognize one or the other. . In conclusion I would take a more ergonomic/comfortable Vita and longer battery life over the so called premium feel any day.PS: Instead of the original cable you can now use a micro usb.
