The 1st motor was broken when we took it out of the box. Recd replacement promptly but the package looked like it had been run over , it was also damaged. It might work but we weren't able to try it.

It was the exact part as was factory installed. But it arrived as pictured with the secondary safety tab broken. 5 Stars for the part itself, 1 Star for putting the part in its box in a larger box without any padding so it bounced around during shipment.

This had the same exact label as the OEM pump I pulled from my Kitchenaid dishwasher. I was having intermittent draining issues with the previous pump, and after troubleshooting, I narrowed it down to the pump itself. This is an easy DIY job. Simply kill the power, release the electrical connection, disconnect the drain hose, lift the tab, and twist out the old pump. Installation is the reverse of removal. Solved the problem and the dishwasher is draining reliably once again.

Had problems with my OEM pump shutting down mid cycle.Suggested to replace pump.Pump looked just like OEM. Different labels. Fit perfectly. 6 weeks later still working and no failures mid cycle.

For some unknown reason the drain pump stopped working on my kitchenaid dishwasher. This unit replaced the original without any issues or concerns (other than having to pull it out and replace it). Works fine so far, sounds just as quiet as the OEM pump. Time will tell.

This motor was the perfect fit for my KitchenAid dishwasher. I went to KitchenAid’s support site and got the part number for the motor my model needed. This was significantly cheaper than the one on their site. So I made the jump! Glad I did! A YouTube video and some swears later I had this motor installed and it fired right up. No more error code beeps!

Got F9E1 error on my 3 year old KDTM404KPS, found this model after some internet search.It looks exactly the same as the original one in my KDTM404KPS, except for the manufacture date.easy to replace and works well after the replacement.The original one lasted only 3 years, with very light use. If they are indeed the same, then I am worried about the quality. Will see how long this one will last.
