Surprisingly easy to install..they supply everything needed for a professional looking install. Cameras are clear and night vision capable. Side cameras are extraordinarily helpful and add to safety in lane change.

Product is decent only 2 complaints...When showing 3 cameras. It can't display left rear right cameras, instead it can do left right rear... if you swap channels the rear sensor doesn't work. Seems like a firmware update could fix that or something.Aside from that, I wished the screen was a bit brighter.

I ordered the installation kit so I could tap into the fuse panel and make this product an instant on cordless installation. The added benefit is when the car is off it goes into surveillance mode monitoring the entire surrounding area while not running down the car battery.

I purchased both the J20 and the H5 to try with my Mazda3. The J20’s two side cameras hung down and impaired my front vision - not safe - I returned it.The H5’s external side cameras work surprisingly well, though tricksy to install sins the door edge rubs the protective foam sleeve (cut it back a bit), and lapping the wire under or over the door weatherstripping is awkward. But otherwise, the cable is fairly easy to install with the simple tool provided. The rear camera was more trouble to install since I have a hatchback with the backup lights in the hatch, not above the bumper. It was impractical for several reasons to install the rear camera above the license plate, but it works really well (except for the colored backup-lines) at the top of the rear window - it gives me a superb view - far better than the rear view mirror. The cables were long enough, with some extra than had to be tucked away, but not much. A longer rear cable definitely would be needed for a big SUV (they do sell an extension). Maaaybe the L+R cables would be long enough for the SUV. Maybe.Me yes are pretty simple and understandable, but some are a mystery. There is a “50/60 Hz” option that three emails to support never got me an explanation about (but support was generally very polite and helpful).Biggest issue is that the screen is not bright enough to see clearly on a sunny day … UNLESS you remove the SECOND FILM LAYER. This surprised me - there is a top thin peel off protector sheet on the mirror-display, then another thicker fairly clear plastic covering below that which doesn’t appear to be intended for removal.Since the display was too dark in bright conditions (even with gain turned to bright), AND since the images in the mirror when it was in “off” (normal driving mode) were also a bit fuzzy and dim, I asked support if it would help to REMOVE the SECOND plastic layer. They said yes, do it. I even wrote back for a confirmation. I have done so and it DOES help. This should have been mentioned in the instructions. One fairly big issue is that apparently there is NO software to be able to play back the recordings on the card ON A PORTABLE DEVICE LIKE AN IPHONE OR IPAD. This unit also doesn’t offer a WiFi or Bluetooth connection to a phone. So, you have to use a laptop to view the recordings. THE SALES PAGE DOES NOT MAKE THIS CLEAR. And I found out after 30 days so I can’t return it. Sigh. Finally - and this sort of a silly thing - when viewing the cameras on the mirror screen, there are many selections for various combos of the 1-4 cameras - but they do NOT include a Left-Rear-Right option. The closest is a Left-Right-Rear. This really bothered me until I found out that the display refuses to remain turned on when driving. Again, SIGH.Small final thing - the cord for the little stick-on GPS square is about 4 feet long and it only needs to be 6 inches, from the mirror to the windshield. They should have made it short, with an optional extension cord. It’s hard to tuck all that extra wire into the ceiling.
