Very sharp and just keeps cutting. I was a bit hesitant initially, as I’d expected something a bit thicker, but the kerf turned out to be ideal. I’ve used this for a range of limb sizes and just to be crazy, used it to top a fairly tall tree during removal by going straight through the 8” trunk (I’m large and weirdly patient when testing things). From using the notched blade to slice the small stuff to working its way through the normal 2-4” branches, it’s handled everything I tried it on. Sure, fully extended out to 23’ on an acme-threaded Mr LongArm, it can get a little squirrely, but that’s every bit as much a function of the pole I was using as the tool. I really like the locking hose-clamp style reinforcement to ensure it stays put while up there.Comes with a warranty and supports a good cause. Recommended with a smile and a thumbs up.

I bought this saw to attach to an existing 30' window washing pole. It threaded on the pole perfectly, and the included hose clamp gripped on the pole providing extra strength. I first sawed some limbs 20' up and it zipped through the dead limbs like butter, I then extended the pole up to 28' and tried cutting an 8inch diameter green limb on a problematic oak tree. While plenty sharp, the bowing and flexing of the pole made cutting the large branch impossible. So, I spent another 4 hours, cutting "reasonable" dead and green limbs at the 20-25' range. Very sharp, strong, well built, and extended my reach beyond expectations. Solid tool!!

Update 25 Aug 24 - was curious if I could cut fully extended my extenda reach pole at 27 ft? I would still say nope. The pole will wobble alot fully extended and extremely difficult to control. So I still recommend, don't use the smallest extension of the pole with this saw. Otherwise it's still a great saw to use.Update 22 Jul 24 - Just finish cutting down about 4-5 inch diameter branch from a maple tree on the side of the house. It was blocking air flow so I figured to thin out. The blade cut easily thru the branch. Trick is slow and steady and don't move around from the spot you were standing making the cut or else your blade will bind. I had to extend the smallest segment of the pole and yes it will wobble a bit but once you get it started it went well. Also you will find that when cutting far up your basically using a smaller segment of the blade to reduce wobble and chance of bending. Also want to recommend once you get the branch down use a separate hand pruning saw to cut it to manageable lengths cause you want your extend a reach pruning saw to stay sharp for the far up branch cutting purpose. Why wear it down by cutting the fallen branch with it. Use a separate hand pruning saw. Suggest the hand pruning saw named like the Corona beer. Hint Hint.Update 3 Jul24 - I just used it the other day to take down a Maple tree branch that was crossing over into another tree branch and was higher up than my normal tree pruner that only extends 13 ft. So I bought this pole saw accessory to match my extend a pole that I have. It worked great with little wobble. Hint: when extending each segment I did it from the bottom up, so that the thinnest extension is not used unless I have too. What is important is the quality and sharpness of the blade. Which this is. So it didn't get stuck and I worked it so it would chew into the wood branch at a steady pace. The cuts were super clean too. Thus, if you have great extension but a cheap blade you will get very tired trying to make the cut. This blade is super sharp and cut thru the maple branch easily which was 4 - 5 inch in diameter. Made several cuts til the final cut to the branch collar.Original Review - I do alot of tree pruning and I have two extension printer saw that are about 12 and 13 ft but I needed something to reach even further up. So I looked to see if there was a pruner saw accessory to my 24 ft extend a reach and yes there is.Once I got it, I can tell right away this is a serious saw blade. Seriously sharp and well made saw. I know because I have quite a lot of different pruner saws. Plus the design to not only screw on to the end of the extend a reach pole but it has an added turn button clamp that will tighten it further from unscrewing itself when you have it high in the tree. That shows they really thought about out in the field usage and what may happen incorporating that into the design. Fantastic. I'm going to give it a go over this weekend and update my review. So I extended it all but the last thinnest extension to cut this branch down. Really happy with it.

I used this product to cut small to medium size branches works well. The clamp will come loose due to the movement. The plastic head that tightens the clamp popped off. I had to periodically use a screw driver to keep the clamp tight.

I needed to trim some very high branches. I bought this saw and a 24 foot telescoping extension pole from Home Depot and the two work great together. This saw is super sharp, and there is a hook on the end for freeing a branch if it gets stuck on the way down. I cut a few branches of easily 3 inch diameters, it was pretty easy. You have to start slowly with short cuts so that it goes into the kerf and doesn't start a new one. The cardboard sleeve has matching hanger hole so it can be hung on a hook with the sleeve on.Highly recommended.

A must have tool for tree pruning and a great asset if you’re fortunate to also have the extend. A pole. Fits the pole perfectly,

It is to be used for tree trimming but the saw slips over the threaded end and tightens with a hose clamp. Why didn’t they make it to screw onto the extension rod end. Makes no sense and is not nearly as stable. The saw itself is good and sharp and heavy so it could have been so much better with proper attachment.

i had been looking at a variety of extendable pole saws under $100 and didn't find one that didn't flex alot according to reviews even at only 12 ft... in addition you have to either screw on sections or rely on some sort of clamping mechanism to secure the extended length which is prone to breaking because they are usually made of plastic...i decided to repurpose an extendable pool brush pole that has a secondary section that is 1 14 " in diameter...the blade has a standard 34" acme thread so it is a perfect fit...in addition, there is a clamp with a padded thumb screw to add a measure of security...blade is very sharp and appears to be of high quality... it zips through 3" redwood branches and with a bit more effort cuts quickly through 2" dead oak limbs...if you already have a stout one piece or extendable pole, buy this blade...it's excellent !!!
