My wife had purchased a couple of blue princess from a local nursery and then realized she really needed a blue prince to pollinate them. Unfortunately none of the local nurseries had one in stock. I have not had good luck ordering plants on line, they either arrive all dried and half dead or they are poor quality. But, the reviews on these were great so, I took a chance and I am VERY glad I did. The bush arrived within a few days and we immediately took it down to plant near the two females. The box wasn’t easy to get into, but that is okay, they just wanted to make sure the plant arrived safely and indeed it did. This bush is gorgeous, healthy, obviously well taken care of at the nursery. Transplanting it was easy because they had it so well packaged. I will absolutely do business with these people again! Very impressed.

Purchased five of these variegated hollies to replace the shrubs that were destroyed by deep freeze couple winters ago. We read the glowing reviews and they are absolutely "spot on!" They arrived sooner than expected, and put in garage overnight, and will plant tomorrow. All five are beautiful, healthy all similar 3 gallon size,.and one even had a berry visible. Husband had a landscape business for several years, and was exceedingly surprised on how nice they are, and equal to some we saw at a nursery about an hour away; but these were less than half the cost for each, and equal in every other way. Cannot wait to plant them in front of our porch.

These Blue Princess hollies have lustrous dark green evergreen leaves without sharp spines and red berries. They arrived in perfect condition, at least 2 ft. tall, bushy, healthy, and well boxed. I was thrilled when I unboxed them (see pics). Last year I paid $20 more for smaller hollies from a different online retailer, so I am overjoyed with these. I have not ordered from this online nursery Green Promise Farms before, but I will again.I ordered Blue Princess because they only grow 8 to 12 ft. tall, and they are winter hardy even in Zone 5. Even though I live in Zone 7, I chose hollies that thrive in Zone 5 so that they can survive harsh winters. Blue Princess was bred in New Jersey (Zone 5) and does not suffer winter damage, unlike Nellie Stevens hollies, which are widely planted in Virginia (Zone 7), but look terrible after winter (brown dead leaves at branch tips).Blue Princess is a female holly and only female hollies set berries. You must have at least one male holly nearby that flowers at the same time to be a pollinator for Blue Princess. Blue Prince is recommended. As a pollinator, I planted a combo plant called Berri-Magic that has a Blue Prince and Blue Princess plant in the same pot. The downside is that only half of the plant has berries, so it's best to stick that one in an inconspicuous corner.
