Great keyboard and mouse for my home MacBook desk setup. Bright backlight and can be Bluetooth swappable with three devices at a push of a button.I like the color and, while they are plastic, they feel durable. Recharge while using capabilities for the mouse the Apple didn’t do for like a decade so that’s a plus. And not paying the Apple tax for a bad design is nice.

I rarely give reviews but this item made an impression on me. I purchased this for a Mac Mini M4. First off, was very surprised with packaging. I was not expecting to be in a nice box with a thank you note. The keyboard and mouse are nicely made. They keys feel just like the laptop keys. This keyboard has a power button that you are able to put the computer in sleep mode or shut down. It works well with Mac. The mouse works well also, what can you say about a mouse? It's a mouse that works like it should. Was super glad I didn't have to spend a lot for this keyboard and mouse compared to Apple. Thanks ProtoArc for a great product!

I have purchased and returned three other makes and models of keyboards and mouse combos and finally found THIS which meets requirements the others did not.1. Full size with number pad2. Backlit keys3. 2 or more bluetooth connected pc and macI won't list those I tried and returned but I work on 2 computers and don't have room for KVM type boxes. This has THREE Bluetooth device connections which is an improvement over 2.4 ghz dongle + 1 or 2 Bluetooth connections.Hope the charge lasts long and the product is durable. Will edit if I find problems.

Its good quality but a bit heavy. One thing I didn’t like is when my computer is in idle mode it takes a few seconds to respond when I type again - it’s like reconnecting back to bluetooth

Excellent value. The hardware seems well built and has a lot of features. Included is a rubber keyboard protector which is really nice to type on. Keystrokes and mouse clicks are quiet.

Some backstory.. I have always used slim profile keyboards either on a laptop or iMac. Somehow when my last slim keyboard was damaged I wound up with a standard raised key Logitech keyboard set and tried my best to like it but after months still hated the feel and was developing wrist pain. This keyboard was just delivered today and first impression is I LOVE IT! Instantly remembering why I've always stuck with slim keyboards. It was incredibly easy to connect to my Mac mini. Looks very attractive and sleek. The keyboard feels extremely comfortable to type on. I've never had a backlight keyboard but I have to admit the glow is nice. The mouse is very responsive but is a very different shape than my last mouse and will take some getting used to.I DID DEDUCT ONE STAR BECAUSE THERE IS A LARGE DING ON THE TOP LEFT CORNER I COULDN'T GET TO SHOW UP ON CAMERA. SLIGHTLY DISAPPOINTING BUT I STILL LIKE IT OVERALL.

I do not write a lot of product reviews, but this product is an exceptional value. I typically purchase the Apple Magic Mouse and Apple keyboard which will cost you $300 for the set. This product is built exceptionally well and the keyboard feels very similar to the Apple. The mouse does not have the same weight as the magic mouse but it is still very solid. The other excellent feature is that you can use it for up yo 3 devices. The entire set is less than 25% of the cost for an Apple Magic Mouse and Apple keyboard.

I purchased this as an alternative to to some of the more expensive options from the Big brand names. I set it up in my dusty garage Workshop so I have a good keyboard for my shop computer. I immediately fell in love with it, the keys have great travel and the silicone cover for the keys will keep this thing serviceable and working for a very long time. Couldn't speak on overall battery life using the keyboard backlight but the auto dimming feature should help. The mouse is nice, gets a little creaky if you get any dust under the clickers but that's easy to blow out. The scroll wheel is great and I would have to rate The combo overall 9 out of 10, maybe 10/10 if the mouse was a little bit heavier. It feels light. As a fiction writer, I have purchased pretty much every big brand backlit keyboard on the market for the Mac and at this point I'd have to say this is the best value I've come across. You will not regret your purchase!

this sturdy combo is very nice. I'm an IT guy so I see lots of products ofr PCs and this hands down is the best value for a standard keyboard mouse let alone something that lights up, bluetooth and works with up to 3 devices and is rechargeable and compact. The keyboard feels like a tank it's very durable and has weight to it that keeps it steady on the desk and comes with a very cool silicone protector (I didn't know I was going to like this feature so much but I do. Mouse is slim and responsive, flatter than most but I already love it. I bought this for home and I wish I would have seen this before buying a very expensive Logitech MK850 for my office for $80 only for the 3 device support, it does none of the rest of the things in this description! Awesome job ProtoArc!!

ProtoArc makes a lot of quality keyboards, and mice, and other accessories. They don’t always get everything right though. And that is the some of the same with this one. The main quirk for this keyboard is the labelling of the keys. They chose not to label the keys clearly, or they missed an opportunity there. For example, the Num Lock key is labelled Clear. Had I not guessed that it was the numlock (also no indicator light for it, like it does for the Caps lock), I would have been mashing the keypad thinking its not working. For an experienced keyboardist (if there is such a word), its not a big deal, as I usually go around pressing several keys to find the appropriate keys from experience. But if you were a new buyer, or a seldom buyer of keyboards, and were trying to use this on a Windows or Linux PC, you would not know that. Other keys that they chose to label this way, are the Prt Scr, the ScrlLock, and the Pause, which are labelled F13, F14, and F15 instead. These keys don’t work like they are supposed to in Windows or Linux. I can understand that they are trying to differentiate themselves, but not at the expense of making the keyboard more cryptic. Also there is no Fn-Lock, so you are forced to press the Fn key for every Function key press you want. The second main con that I noticed (maybe I have a bad batch), is that the keyboard does not come back well after going to sleep. I have other Protoarc keyboards, and they will wakeup after a keypress, and will type flawlessly, once awake. This one however, behaves differently from its brethren. It will remember the key presses that I made while it was asleep and then vomit them out, when it comes awake. So I never know what its going to type on the screen when it is waking up from sleep. And sometimes, if it doesn’t type some gibberish, it will double type letters after it wakes up for the first second or two, and then it works flawlessly. The mouse also requires three clicks for it to wake up. Again not the case with other ProtoArc products that I have used. Its not a distance thing either, as the BT dongle is inches away from the keyboard. Other than that this keyboard is a gem. The key feel is top notch, the materials are quality, and the backlight is a bonus with three settings for brightness. The keyboard has built in batteries, and lasts a long time. It also comes with a cloudy silicon cover, that makes it even more of a pleasure to use this keyboard. And I haven’t even mentioned the mouse yet. The mouse is also top notch, but other than the connectivity issue like the keyboard, it has no quirks, and worked flawlessly out of the box. This review is for the “ProtoArc Backlit Bluetooth Keyboard Mouse for Mac, KM100-A Ultra Slim Wireless Keyboard Mouse for Mac, Rechargeable, Multi-Device for MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, iPhone, iPad-Black Connect Button”.

Great quality. Would buy again. Just wish I could set the time before the device disconnected due to inactivity.

the only complaint I have from this is, would be its compatibility with windows as well. But thats okay.Bluetooth works great otherwise and you can seperately switch between 3 options which is awesome. Battery saver mode is also great in the event you leave the keyboard forgetting to turn it off. backlit and sleeve are fantastic additions and make this worth the price.Final thing I am thankful for is its USB-C. No more batteries to buy. The charge I notice last not as long, but can last a few days use no problem
