The poly kept saddling off. Have to keep pressing even if it's a little off, it will push through. Well made, no issues. Can't really tell the driving difference yet because I have to change my wheel bearings. Will update later once that's done.

This is my second set of poly inserts from Prothane for my engine mount, the first set lasted about 30,000 before ovaling out around the bushing causing the engine to rock when getting on the gas or going off. My Ford Focus is old and will last the life of the next set.Firms up shifts, but causes noticeable rumble and vibration in car at idle. When moving or reving engine seems smooth and shifting is more fun.

Best upgrade I've done for the little old Focus. I'd read over and over to upgrade the lower mount or dogbone. I used a press to remove the old bushings, might be a pain if you don't have one.Anyway, the car feels amazing compared to before and I sense no more vibrations. Basically all win.

This fit my Ford Focus great. After the original rubber mount fell apart, I decided not to go with a rubber mount again for the propensity to fail. The Prothane should never have a failure. The fit was tight, but that is how it is meant to be. The drive feel was still very tolerable. This is the only option I would use if I were to do the job again.

I used these on my 2003 Focus SVT. I used a 20 ton hydraulic press to make quick easy work of pressing the old out and these in. My mount was only four months old when the factory insert began slipping out thus bottoming the mount against the cross-member. These have eliminated that problem as the lip they have is just enough to keep that from happening. I have noticed no added harshness only a very very slight increase in idle vibration with the A/C cranking. To be fair my other two main engine mounts are rubber/Hydraulic and brand new. I have been rewarded with positive shifter feel and nowhere near as much engine movement or noise. Easy choice.

Pretty easy installation, took longer to get the mount lined back up and the bolts in than it did to fit Poly's into the mount. If you don't have a press a vice or heavy duty hand clamps work (MacGyver style) for pressing the old ones out and the new ones in. Mounted these on my '04 Ford Focus SVT. Does add an increased vibration throughout the vehicle at idle though, it's normal with the more solid mount. Downshifting does feel significantly smoother as well.

I installed this kit into the torque arm on my 06 Focus. It fit perfect even though some sites did not indicate that it would. I am hoping doing this will also help save some wear and tear on the other mounts. No negatives noted, did not increase engine noise or vibration. It did stiffen the feel of the transmission while shifting which in my opinion is good.
