A canvas cleaner to deep clean your top and prevent future growth . . .
Application Guide - It is recommended that approximately 500ml of product is sufficient to clean a top for a 2 seater car. The canvas soft top must be colourfast so test on an inconspicuous area first, to ensure fabric dye does not run. Do not apply the cleaner in direct sunlight as drying time will be to fast preventing the cleaner from working properly.
Lightly dampen the surface of the soft top then starting in the middle and working towards the edges, apply the cleaner with a clean paintbrush taking care not to spill any onto the vehicles paintwork. Leave for 15 minutes at allow the cleaner to penetrate the canvas then gently scrub using hot water and a stiff brush to loosen dirt and grime.
Complete the process by rinsing well with clean cold water and allowing to dry. It is recommended that the canvas is then restored using Canvas Restorer and/or sealed and protected using Protex Canvas Waterproofer.

Shake the bottle well and decant sufficient product into a separate container to apply to the soft top. Then start at the centre and work outwards apply the restorer quickly and evenly with a clean paint brush taking care not to spill any onto the vehicles paintwork.
Leave for 3 hours to allow the restorer to dry and if required recoat and again allow 3 hours drying time. Do not expose to moisture until the restorer has completely dried. It is recommended that the canvas is then sealed and protected using Protex Canvas Waterproofer.

Used this kit to clean and reseal convertible roof. Easy to clean and apply.Just give yourself a half decent day, not too hot & sunny, but above all make sure you have time in your hands.Came up really clean and almost like new.

Does exactly what it says it will do. Hood cleaned on a Z3 and it came up great, had a good amount of green on the hood and it now looks really nice.

My convertible top was starting to leak in rain storms. With one application of this, all the leaking stopped and the top looked brand new. It's easy to apply and saved me from buying a whole new convertible top.

Used this to clean and waterproof my 2006 Audi A4 convertible’s canvas roof. Brilliant cleaning fluid. Used only half of the 1 litre bottle to thoroughly clean the hood. Brought out all of the dirt and mould and looked spotless, once finished. Also used the same brand colour restorer which was also excellent (separate order and review) before waterproofing the hood with the included 1 litre liquid.Car looks fantastic. Took me about 8 hours to do the whole roof, including resealing the glass rear window which had come away from the canvas. Supplied brushes and cloths also great, particularly the large towel which was excellent for drying the hood once it had been washed. Can’t recommend this item highly enough.I bought the 1 litre kit and estimate that I used half of the cleaning fluid and 2/3rds of the waterproof sealer after giving it two coats.

I had a lot of green & staining on my Mini convertible roof, I used the cleaner exactly how it says to use (leaving it on for 15 mins to really get into the dirt & lift it)I cleaned it twice as I was amazed at how much muck it lifted off each time.I could only apply the waterproof sealer once even though it suggests to do it twice, due to the fact the material would not soak another coat in, it just sat on the surface! So in my case it only needed 1 coat.I used 2 thirds of the bottle.I hadn't given the roof a deep clean or sealed it before, I've had it for 3 years.Every winter the inside of the car was damp and getting mouldy due to the roof, but now the water just sits on the roof then rolls off rather than soaking in.I cannot recommend this product highly enough.I bought it after reading the reviews.I had researched other products but this one came out on top.The pack included 2 brushes to apply the products, a hand brush to work the cleaner in plus 2 small microfiber clothes and 1 really large cloth. This is a perfect kit, nothing else needed except your bucket and water 😁
