I bought this Protec mute bag because at times there isn’t enough room in my gig bag for all the mutes I need. While I appreciate the included shoulder straps, I am more likely to use the stitched in hook to attach it to my gig bag. I often play solo gigs with recorded music backing. I find this bag is a good fit for my speaker, so I can pack said speaker, clip it to my gig bag, and go audition for more gigs. Then again, those shoulder straps could come into play . . . . Very happy, highly recommended!

Plenty of space - designed for two mutes but can hold 4 at a push. Handy front pocket for pencil, valve oil etc.

This mute bag is exactly what I was looking for. It’s a great size for carrying to and from gigs and is very lightweight. The material is thick and durable, which protects my mutes very well. I can typically fit 4 mutes in here, which is more than I expected to! It also has a zip pocket in the front which is great for storing other non-mute items. I’m very happy with this purchase and think I will be for a long time! I highly recommend this product to anyone who might be on the fence about purchasing.

There is NOTHING I did not like about this mute bag. The high quality vs relatively low price is amazing. The nylon is VERY thick, durable and not stiff. It's very light weight. I have a straight and a plunger mute in the bag and there is considerable room to spare, enough to easily hold two large mutes by themselves. For a small bag, the pocket in front is a large size. The inside of the bag has very soft and durable material that won't scratch the mutes. The thick padded adjustable divider inside has enough Velcro on it to easily hold it in place. The two double sided zippers are good quality, slide easily and sewn on well. The heavy duty nylon handle on top is sewn on well and is a nice addition. The heavy duty adjustable shoulder strap is very durable and is sewn together well. The nylon loops that are sewn to the bag to hold the plastic loops for the strap are also sewn on well. The whole bag is sewn together very well. The clips for the strap are strong quality. I agree with one reviewer that wrote that you can't put in many mutes in this bag like, other reviewers have stated. Hence, in the description of this bag states it is a two mute bag for a good reason, because it is for only two mutes plus the front pocket. If there were six stars I would have given it that. It's to bad that every thing is not made as well as this bag is.

This has been a great "assistant" for keeping my trumpet mutes safe and together.I love being able to sling it over my shoulder before I head out the door.The durability and space allow for carrying several mutes at once (which are not very heavy anyhow).I always look for a ProTec item first when searching for a case or carrier for my instruments.

I am able to fit a straight mute, 2-piece cup mute, Harmon mute, medium plunger mute, music glasses, cleaning cloth, pencil, Snark tuner, spare batteries, and valve oil in this mute bag. The ballistic nylon is strong and lightweight. The zippers are heavy duty and function smoothly. A quality shoulder strap and luggage tag holder are included. In addition, the centered spring clip is designed to attach to my Protec trumpet-flugelhorn case. The quality of this product is very high, in my opinion. I expect it to last for many years.

Dentro tiene mucho espacio, en total podrías meter 4 sordinas un poco apretadas. Dentro es terciopelo, bastante suave, y por fuera muestra mucha resistencia en sus materiales.

I've been using this for a while now to hold my Cornet mutes and it's serving it's purpose well, I have 3 mutes in it (straight, cup & harmon) plus my small Carol books. It arrives supplied with a padded divider (utilising Velcro) and I can add extra padding internally to separate the mutes if I thought it needed any, what's supplied is sufficient. The carry handle is adequate and I find the clip most useful. I can clip it on and off the buckles of my gig bag quickly and I've discovered I can clip it onto one of the bolts on my stand for concerts (saved me buying a mute holder for my stand). I've not had to worry about waterproof qualities yet, but it's been able to withstand the showers it's encountered.

Protec continues to crank out great products for the working musician, and this is no exception. I have been using one for a few years now, and purchased another for a relative. I have also been using their mouthpiece pouches.The good: Holds a pack of trumpet mutes, padded sides, shoulder strap, and case clip for clipping to your gig bag or case.The bad: None--continues to hold up well.Summary: Well thought out design, great price, quality materials make this trumpet mute bag the top choice for me.
