For a certified helmet it’s amazing how sleek and small profile this helmet is. I love the helmet - felt comfortable. Only downside is it it should come with a couple different size pads inside so you can adjust the fit. There is no way to size this helmet. For me - the small was too small small and medium too big. So i returned

My 5 year old saw this helmet and instantly forgot about his cheap Ninja Turtle helmet. It fit better, was more comfortable, and he could tell it was special. I've used PROTEC since I was rollerblading 15 years ago. Now my son is joining the PROTEC family and I couldn't feel more safe with this on his head.

Perfect helmet for a 5ish year old. It's a Pro-tec. Couple it with junior set of pads and you're child is good to go. Even my helicopter wife feels secure with my son geared up and ready to hit the skatepark.
