I was combining some studio equipment outside of their regular use as a custom DJ mixer combination. I discovered there wasn’t a way to carry them safely. This trumpet bag was the right answer. Just after a few adjustments , I am happy with the way it turned out.

Very sturdy; however this is listed at 3 lbs. it weighed at least 5.5 lbs. we were trying to reduce the weight of my grandson’s case but it did not really accomplish that goal.

It is what I needed. It has everything you need. Room for your mouthpieces without crowding your slide on the trumpet. Side pocket holds everything but the mutes. My mutes are in a bag. It's the best bag so far.!

This is a great looking case for a professional trumpet. It is woodshelled for protection and does cause it to weigh a bit more. I love that it won't crush as easy as the foamed based cases. This is a high quality case for a gigging professional or a student needing to replace a falling apart original case. Two thumbs up!

Purchased this for my son in high school. The bag appears very well made, with excellent attention to detail. The overall structure also appears very sturdy - protection is likely on-par with a hard case (case is NOT ultra-light). Only negative observation - my son has commented that the shape is a bit "awkward" to carry. The total "volume" of the case is likely smaller than the Yamaha hard-case that came with his trumpet, but the proportions are different because of the "vertical" loading of the instrument. The case appears "short and wide" compared to a typical trumpet case (pictures don't really do it justice). Although I think it looks kind of cool, my son has commented that the shape makes the strap slip off his shoulder when carrying multiple bags. I have a hard time deducting a star for this considering the overall quality and appearance of the case - we would buy it again.

Protec always is predictable quality, sturdiness and functionality. I added this to my 3 horn hardshell case which is great, as a roller like luggage. This case can either be carried or strap over shoulder, which is great option for single horn.

I bought a Getzen C trumpet that came in a case that was made for Bb trumpets. It's a good case, but it just didn't seem to offer proper protection for the C trumpet.I decided I'd try this PRO PAC slimline and it is perfect. I can still put a K&M trumpet stand in the bell and I feel very confident that the case provides excellent protection. Protec always produces hight quality cases. They are worth their price, and its prices are fair.No negatives to report. Very satisfied.

This case is literally the best case I’ve had so light weight and lots of storage in the front pocket! Love it!

So. Looking at the pictures I was like oh this is going to be nice, small, sturdy, and light weight case. Boy, was I wrong. The case is sturdy and nice looking, very sleek. But it weighs about three times as much as your trumpet. This isn’t a real problem, it’s just that the case is very oddly shaped. While you would think that the top of the case, the part with the carrying handle, would be thinner, it is not. The top is about a foot wide and when carrying it, the case rubs against your leg. If you try to hold it out so it won’t rub, you just end up looking stupid. Everything else is great, it has great storage and amazing protection for your prized trumpet. If it was only slimmer, like the name says, I would’ve given a five star review. Either way, I definitely recommend this case from Protec.
