I was practicing and then somehow ended up at a rave later in the day, my trombone was fine afterwards. Probably the best single tenor case you can get for this price. Only 4 stars because its slightly heavy and bulky, and they make you buy straps separately.

Not the lightest case I've ever used yet the most practical. Has room for my many essentials. Not a concern of my bone getting damaged while traveling/packing. Nice looking too.

I just ordered the ProPac trombone gig bag IP306CT. I have a Bach LT42BO trombone.I set my trombone in the bag to see how it fits. I put the slide in first. I realized the edge of the connection part that goes to the bell when placed in the bell end of the gig bag reaches to the zipper. And that is after I adjusted the velcros on the slide pad away from the slide so that it will fit. Otherwise if I left the velcros in place the slide would not fit in. That means the spit valve is facing inward in order for the slide to fit. I tried the other way, but the connector to the bell extends beyond the case zipper. The I set the bell in place. After some minor adjustments and closing the tuning slides, I barely fit it in. The extended f attachment crosses over part of the cross section case, but just over the soft part of the case padding. So it will fit, if one doesn't mind the minor adjustments.I just applied my slide cleaning rod to the bag to the place that it was made for. I found out that it touches the bell which means it can scratch the bell. I have attached an image of it, so you can see for yourself.Contact ProTec and let them know of this type of trombone gig bag's opportunities.
