Product Description

Each wall panel is made of high-density PVC and can hold up to 75 lbs per linear foot per slat. Proslat's patented design puts the mounting screws above the hook cavity, which allows for maximum strength. Their design transfers the workload to the screw, which relieves the pressure--the screw is carrying the workload, not the panel. Impact testing indicates that a Proslat wall panel is up to 25 times more impact resistant than drywall. Proslat stands behind their panels with a 10-year limited warranty.

What Sets Proslat Apart?

Robust

Each wall panel is made of high-density PVC and can hold up to 75 lbs per linear foot per slat. Proslat's patented design puts the mounting screws above the hook cavity, which allows for maximum strength. Their design transfers the workload to the screw, which relieves the pressure--the screw is carrying the workload, not the panel. Impact testing indicates that a Proslat wall panel is up to 25 times more impact resistant than drywall. Proslat stands behind their panels with a 10-year limited warranty.

Simple Installation, Professional Finish

Proslat's patented hidden screw design makes anyone look like a professional. Miss a stud? No problem--simply remove and reposition the screw and the next panel will hide the blunder. Panels can be cut with a circular saw or a jigsaw. The result is a clean professional finish with absolutely no visible mounting screws.

Green

Proslat wall panels are produced using 90% recycled material, making them one of the greenest storage solutions on the market today.

Versatile

Proslat systems are versatile. You may install an entire wall, a section of a wall, or a track around the wall. This flexibility puts you in charge of the design. You can change the configuration--or add to your design--at any time.

If you are looking for a technologically advanced panel that is the strongest, greenest and simplest, Proslat is the solution for you.

Accessories

Enhance your slatwall with accessories such as hooks, baskets, shelves and bins. Proslat wall panels make it easy to add, remove or change the way you organize your space.

Hooks, Baskets & Shelving

Proslat offers a variety of hanging solutions all made from high grade steel. We designed our backplates to disperse the working load throughout the wall so you can hang whatever you want without worrying. Powder coated finish adds durability and larger hooks feature rubber tips for safety.

Our wide selection of hooks, baskets and shelving is designed to give you maximum flexibility today and for many years to come. To view these items, type “Proslat hooks”, “Proslat baskets” or “Proslat shelves” in the search bar.

Probins

The storage bin offers maximum storage options. We designed our translucent Probins with a high load bearing capacity despite their lightweight construction. They are great for storing those products (like oil cans and soap containers) that often leak onto the floor. Probins are easy to wash; you can even put them in the dishwasher. To view these items, type “Proslat Probins” in the search bar.

What's in the Box?

10 slats, covering an 8-foot x 4-foot section or 32 total square feet (each panel measures 5 ¾-inch H x 8-foot L; because panels interlock, the exposed or finished size is 4 ¾-inch H x 8-foot L)

I put this up in my laundry room to hang brooms, mops, spray bottles and misc. items. It works wonderfully - very tidy. One suggestion - before you install the panels give them a dip in a tub of water with a bit of fabric softener. They are very statically charged and cleaning the grooves of lint hair etc... is a challenge once installed.

After extensive research, and despite reading the "top customer review" by B. Riley about its "failure" roughly a month later, I ordered two Proslat 8x4-foot sections for my garage from Amazon on October 23, 2017.Four days after placing my order, I installed these sections in my garage (please see first photo).Roughly 10 months later, I offer the following if you're considering buying this product:First, while my install was slightly easier than B. Riley's because of its exposed studs vs. drywall, if you're able to properly locate studs beneath drywall, then the Proslat-provided screws are long and sturdy enough to securely fasten every horizontal slat to the wall.Second, I have no idea what other reviewers are talking about regarding "brittle screws." There is no need to buy/use "better" screws to install this. I used the screws Proslat provided and I've had zero problems. Also, Proslat provides far more screws than you will need if you install this per their instructions, and the company also provides the square-drive screwdriver bit you'll need for your drill.Next, I also ordered/use official Proslat hangers on my Proslat wall. These things are beefy and well-constructed, but there are MANY cheaper peg-board/MDF/nock-off versions of these items available on Amazon or at your local hardware store (which probably explains why the "top reviewer's" stuff fell off the wall. Proslat actually sells specific bike-hangers, by the way, which are designed to hold up to 75 pounds: https://www.amazon.com/Proslat-13028-Vertical-Designed-Slatwall/dp/B00HUDH7YC)In summary:1. Despite the negative review of "B. Riley," all you need to do is follow the installation instructions and use Proslat-brand hooks to create an incredibly strong and reliable storage/organization system.2. Based on my Amazon purchase, I think the Proslat system is awesome, and I plan to buy a few more sections if/when the price drops again. I've received several compliments from family members, friends and even my mailman about how great this system looks/works.3. Finally, I do not work for Amazon or Proslat, nor did I receive any benefit for endorsing this product.cjrEDIT: On August 13, 2018, I purchased two more 8x4 Proslat sections from Amazon to finish my garage wall. I'll install them later this autumn, when my garage isn't so hot.EDIT: On October 8, 2018, I installed two more 8x4 Proslat sections, which finished the east-side of my garage (see second photo). I also added Proslat shelves and baskets, as well as a second 20-piece hook kit (item #11004), both by Proslat and available on Amazon.

I purchased the Proslat wall three weeks ago. I read ALL the reviews. Thanks to everyone who wrote one. I appreciate the tools to make an informed decision.Normally, I wait longer to write a review....just to make sure the product doesn't disappoint down the road. I don't feel a need to wait on this purchase. This wall is "rock solid", beautiful, well made....pick a positive adjective...that's how I feel. I was leery about too much weight after the bicycle review, but I had no plans to hang anything heavier than 30 pounds and had plenty of space for weight dispersal. After installing the wall I am confident it could handle much more than I have to challenge it.Shipping was on time and well packaged. The slats arrived in excellent condition. I watched the YouTube video several times and read the directions as well. The installation was easy and straightforward. (Make sure to wait for the click when you seat one panel into another. A tiny pound with my fist was all it took to seat it and I didn't doubt when it happened. Thanks to another reviewer's tip to pay attention to that!)I spent more time on the installation than most others who have reviewed this item. I am a bit of a perfectionist so I spent quite a bit of time "mapping" the area, locating studs and drawing level lines as guides. I took my time, working on it intermittently, but I would guess we spent a total of two hours putting it up. The screws provided were perfectly adequate (zero issues), the bit for the drill was very handy but did start wearing toward the end. Take a tip from my brilliant husband on the bit....he carefully filed off the very end with a metal file and voila, a fresh bit.I love this slatwall and am planning to do another (floor to ceiling next time) in a few months.UpdateSeveral months later I am still thrilled with this purchase. I’ve added additional items and the wall is still as solid as a rock.

ProSlat Slat wall is the way to go! I ordered off Amazon as this is the cheapest place to purchase. I spoke with the company directly and they did not know of a better published price. They were great with answers as I am a perfectionist when it comes to my projects.First off I mounted treated 2x4 studs every 16 inches (on center) into my poured concrete walls with tapcon screws every two feet (vertically). I then followed the instructions that came with the ProSlat Slatwall as well as watched their video. In my pictures you will see 4 panes (8 feet x 4 feet) mounted in my garage. They were simple to install only taking a rainy Sunday afternoon for all four panels with no extra help. Once completed I broke into all of my mounting hardware purchased from ProSlat. These things are well built and even have a locking clasp on the bottom of the larger hooks to keep them from coming off the wall when removing items. As you will see I have heavy tools mounted all over my slat wall as well as some heavy 6 ton jack stands hanging at the top (in red). I don't think the ProSlat even budged when I hung those up.If my wife would let me I would surround my garage/shop with ProSlat Slatwall, my closet, and my storage room. She thinks I might be getting carried away a bit.If you have any questions about how I mounted mine, please send me a message.
