For context, I’m a beginner DJ and purchased this set for my weekly gig at a small bar.The sound quality is amazing and the speakers are very powerful.Initial set up (out of the box) is a bit of a nightmare. DON’T expect to open the box and use them, they do not come assembled.Everyday set up is super easy as long as you can lift and carry 80+ pounds (the subwoofer is huge).Once set up, they look very sleek and professional.Over all, definitely worth the money. The only reason I couldn’t give this 5-stars was the difficult assembly and lack of clear instructions.

2.5 year review... thing is awesome, very loud with minimal distortion (only on the sub) only used this for bluetooth - the range could be better for sure but its about as good as you can get without being over wifi. I bought these to set up for big parties at our place and they are extremely loud.. not for a neighborhood. Fairly bulky sub box (its a 15) so hard to move around. After our 4th of July party I let them sit in the spot in this picture for 2 and half months. Brought them to the driveway, hooked them up, turned on some music, Pressure Washed them up and they sound the same way they did the first time I used them. Great Product!

If you're providing sound for an outdoor concert or looking for that thumping sub, you're looking too cheap. For a small venue, reasonable sound even for a small band, this would be a good portable option. I'm filling a 40x60 barn with music for a dance and this system is outstanding. The sub is more the frequencies you hear, not the frequencies you feel - you'd need more and bigger subs to feel the bass. But the quality is really good for the price. I had no issues with damage and I spent about an hour and 15 from cutting open the first box to listening to music from my phone via bluetooth. I would recommend using a wrench to hold the nuts during assembly. Again, I'd recommend this product based on my experience so far. I expected less and was pleasantly surprised.

The Proreck 4000 system works perfectly for my 5-piece band. We have used it in venues/bars that can fit up to 300 people with no issue. The sound comes out *mostly* clean (explanation further in) and the bass is LOUD.That being said, you are going to also need a mixing board. This may go without saying, but trying to use these speakers without a mixing board is not a good idea for live music performance. The Bluetooth works just fine, but the range seems to be slightly shorter than other Bluetooth speakers in my house; could just be the subwoofer casing that blocks some of the signal. For live music: We ran guitar, keys, vocals, bass, and 4-drum mics from my kit through this system. *I know, a drummer with their own PA system, right?* It sounded great! the bass player used his amp as a monitor but 90% of the live bass sound came from the subwoofer. There was a small amount of muddiness between the kick drum and the bass, but it only happened occasionally. Ideally, the bass would be on its own speaker so there is no crossing of frequencies, but as a starter PA system this thing is perfect. I left the line and master at 50% and it was more than enough for a 100 person bar show.I did test out max volume with some dubstep with heavy heavy bass to see how it would handle, and the music was incredibly clear and incredibly loud. You obviously shouldn't leave the system on max, but for a test it performed beautifully. If you're looking for a live music set-up without spending $3000 on JBLs or BOSE speakers, this is it. I'm happy with my purchase and the speakers feel like they will last a long time under heavy use.One thing: This sub is freaking heavy! 85lbs. The handles are nice, but you are going to want to install some caster wheels on that thing so you don't destroy your back. Install them on the back (the side with the interface) so the woofer still remains in contact with the ground. I doubt the manufacture recommends doing it, but it's worth it to avoid injury.

Purchased the Proreck Club 4000 (on 6.26.2020) to use for family gatherings.. outdoor backyard movies.. DJ'ing at friends parties.. etc. I've had the system for almost a week and it has worked out very well. I've been running music from a tablet via Aux Input and it sounds great. We've used it for audio for a backyard movie and that also worked out very well. I ran this with a 2 channel DJ controller for a 4th of July party and it worked extremely well. The audio is crisp/clear, regardless the genre (rock, pop, edm). I have not fully tested volume capabilities yet, but at less than half volume the audio was clearly heard across a half acre backyard. Bass levels will depend on the audio source and specific genre of music and needs to be adjusted accordingly, but I had no issues. There was a small manufacturing defect with one of the speaker stand components. I emailed Proreck and they rectified the issue very quickly with a response back in under 24 hours.I have not yet tested out the Bluetooth capabilities, but will try to update my feedback as I get more time to use the system in different ways.
