Needed only one 5000g weight per my scales instructions for calibration. Ordering this set makes things more convenient since it splits the weight up so I can check other ranges after calibration.

I needed a 5k weight for scale calibration - 5 thousand kilograms weighs 11 pounds ....11 pounds may not sound that heavy, but it is ... much easier using 4 weights totaling 5k, than it is using 1 weight weighing 11 poundsThis was a Promo Deal ...get yours while you can

Not as pictured, but it is listed correctly. The picture shows numerous weight values 5 kg on down. What I received is as listed: two 2 kg weights and two 500 g weights. The weights are accurate.

We needed a calibration weight set in our lab for calibrating a variety of scale types, and these were an affordable and accurate solution. Our scales were calibrated by an independent company about a week before these arrived, and we checked each weight for accuracy, and each one was perfect. I needed these for my new kitchen scale. My old kitchen scale had no calibration feature and became useless. 250 ml of water (using tare) weighed 225 g, 500 ml of water weighed 486 g.So I am glad to have these weights for the new scale which needed calibrating. I will also use them to check the accuracy of the scale from time to time and recalibrate if necessary. I bought the 2 500 gram and 2 2kg set which will be more useful in checking accuracy.Besides being functional, they look nice and they came very promptly, which I appreciate since I use my kitchen scale quite often and was resorting to volume measurements.
