Ordered this product and the top unit arrived damaged. I reached out directly to the manufacturer who easily shipped me a replacement part within a few days. No need for Amazon to get involved or ship back a perfectly good unit over one damaged part.

Compass for my son-in-law. He's one of those guys that has everything. Whatever he needs he runs out and gets and won't let you know. So I figured this would be nice for in his walk-in closet

Wood hanger had many scratches. The description of the top tray was completely inaccurate. NO felt lined compartments. complete disappointment. The assembly instructions were pictures only and the pictures of the top tray were so small that I was unable to attach it securely to the body of the valet. Pre-drilled holes were too big and would not hold the cam securely

This was a perfect choice for my Marine husband. He now has a proper place to store his uniform and insignia plus a sturdy spot for his boots. It is very classy and was exactly as described. Very happy with this purchase.

This was a gift and I am so delighted with the product. Really sturdy piece. Easy to put together and looks amazing. Perfect valet, no damage apart from a scratch on the hanger which faces the wall anyway, so not disappointed with that

Works really well. Looks good. Easy to assemble. And for those of you wondering what easy to assemble means, let give my example.I am definitely not mechanically inclined at all. I was pleased that it only took about 90 minutes from start to finish. Not being snarky here. I took my time, reviewed the diagrams carefully, and made sure I matched the pictures with screws and bolts. Also, a note about the hanger support rod. Mine needed light tamping insert both ends. Go easy and wrap the wood with cloth. It makes a snugger connection and the two wood nails go in better. Review the diagrams and go slow. One last point, there are no written instructions to describe the pictures.

Looked like one of the best laid out of the valets I viewed on Amazon. It's sharp looking with simple yet classy lines. A bit on the pricey side for what you get but seems to be fairly well made. I guess the two things together, the jewelry valet with drawer and the clothes valet make it worth the cost. I do like the size of the top jewelry valet, large enough for your pockets contents and the drawer for the rest. It keeps your everyday items handy for loading your pockets every morning. The base could stand to be larger, by the time you get the top jewelry valet loaded with stuff and clothes hanging on it the entire thing can be a bit tippy, especially on carpet. I keep my heavy shoes on the base and it helps.I don't know why the other reviewers complain about assembly, it's like your typical knock down furniture.. Assembly is easy enough, just be sure to mount the base so that the pants hanger holes are toward the front. It appears to be solid wood too instead of particle board.

The stand comes "flat packed" much like Ikea furniture -- similar hardware and similar picture instructions for assembly. Assembly is for the most part not difficult, but will take a little time, and can be mostly completed with a screwdriver. The exception to this was the hanger piece at the top, which is set on a pair of connected brass rods -- the holes for this piece were not drilled out quite right so that inserting the brass end pieces was very tight and difficult. After wrapping the hanger piece with a cloth and giving it a few taps with a rubber mallet, everything came together. I'm very pleased with the look of the finished valet and it seems very solid, including the trouser bar that some previous reviewers thought was flimsy.
