I always keep a package of these around for hanging or adhering metallic objects to another. I used one magnet on the base for a lathe tool height setting gauge I made, bored and inserted flush fitting on bottom of tool body. I use others to attach thin plastic sheeting material used for covering my lathe ways, moves well when in use of carriage moving and making the plastic easy to remove for cleaning or replacing. I use others for a steel ruler hanging on the rear panel of my lathe as a stock reference guide. Others used for hanging note pads on metal hooks for project plans etc. Always a use for strong magnets. These are good.
