  • The idea came from an employee of Prolux. He had young kids at home who made lots of messes and their floor scrubber was not powerful enough to clean it. After seeing his wife on her knees scrubbing the floor he thought Prolux could do better.

  • The biggest problem the Prolux Core is designed to solve is time. It is simply designed to save you time. No more scrubbing on your hands and knees. With its T handle & ext. cords it can clean side to side which is 2x faster than other brands.

  • The Core was designed by Prolux's USA Engineers to not be the cheapest but the best. One cleans WAY better and is designed in the US to last for decades. The others are designed to be disposable.

  • Most buffers & scrubbers have a fixed cord. For larger spaces to clean you cannot safely add longer cords. The Prolux Core has a removable 50 ft. extension cord. This means for large jobs you could add a UL rated much longer extension cord.

We had a lot of floor tile in the kitchen and utility area that had gotten dulled over time. They needed a thorough deep-cleaning. This machine did the trick. It's heavy and heavy-duty. We bought the pad ensemble but quite frankly, haven't used them at all. This is easy enough to use for those of us who are older.

Seems cheap made. Scrubber brush comes off easily while scrubbing. Have to push down on top of brush motor to lower handle. Not worth paying $400 for.

I’m impressed with everything but the brush comes off if I am not very careful. Also, the company cannot be reached by phone. Send emails back and forth for days and finally they agreed to send a new brush and base. I ordered a second one and it has the same problem. I hope the new parts fix it but I should not be asked to work on it for free. I just want it to work.10/27 Update: Prolux excels at customer service. Anna at Prolux worked with me until the problems were resolved. Thank you Anna. To compensate me for my time, they sent me a pad holder and three extra pads. The pad makes quick work of cleaning my epoxy garage floor. I am actually looking forward to my floor getting dirty again! Prolux is located in Utah.

I purchased this cleaner / polisher for my polished concrete floors, and it was easy to maneuver and store with telescoping handle. The machine size was adequate for refreshing the finish on approximately 1300 square feet of polished, heated, house slab. It was due for a refresh having not been deep cleaned for 5 years. Having this machine around will make it easier to maintain for many years to come. With various attachments it can be used on smooth concrete also.
