Just hard enough to deflect impacts, but not too hard to be unuseful Good for grave walls and play yards. Recommended for utility.

Item was purchased for my sonâs sensory room. I put a swing in the room and he has been kicking the wall. I purchased the bad after he put a hole in the wall. I put a swing in the room and he was using the wall to push himself So noise from him kicking off the wall was very loud. The pad really absorbed the blow.

Ok, so - the foam is dense and thick - the covering is adequate and I'm pretty it's going to hold up to some punishment - it seems like something you would find in a school gym for sure - I ordered the widest selection I could - I just wish it was wider.It comes with 3 wide strips of velcro on each section (2 sections) so you can put the velcro on the wall I suppose and then put the pads on the wall. I got these pads to do floor exercises on.Overall - I think this is great for it's intended purpose. But I think it's crazy expensive for the purpose I bought it for.If gym wall pads are this expensive, holy cow I feel sorry for schools that have to buy these things for their walls. Man..These do the job. but man do they cost a lot.
