The build quality of this item is very good. It works very well for the Bowens attachment, and although it works well on the profit side, it is a little undersized, so it has to be a little forced to fit. Aside from that, it works really well and it is a good value for the money.

The inner edge of the ring dies not fit over the Profoto lamp. The inner edge has a smaller diameter and only fits a portion of the way over the lamp housing.

I have an old set of Acute 1200 heads.Was worried they wouldn’t fit the old style heads since the newer Profotos appear to have a smaller diameter barrel.They fit perfectly and are very well made for the price.

I did have to use my lathe a alum plate to fit it up. I it really did the job.
