My horse goes through fly masks. He's a bald face and prone to skin cancer so he wears year round. Easy to put on and a place for a phone number in case of emergency. They last about a season depending on his rubbing on things

Reason this is best ever fly mask is it allows air in between the ears. Notice how there is space in between the ears. This mask goes around each ear allowing the skin to breathe. The softness around the cheeks is terrific no more rubbing the skin. It is does not cover the entire length of the nose but my horses like this. I have to put sun block on one mare's skin and this makes it easier to address. Best ever fly mask for my horses! Note one size just alittle bit larger would be great.

I really like the double close velcro, it feels pretty strong, especially since the sizing is pretty snug for a Thoroughbred. My horse is slightly small for a Thoroughbred, and there was only an inch to be able to close the velcro. Otherwise, I would find this mask perfect. A different brand was too snug around the ears to be comfortable, this one is better around the ears, but snug around his head. He has dunked in the pond with it on and still was able to see afterwards, he scratches on wood and the hay nets all the time and hasn't worked it off. I don't leave them on at night, but the reflective triangle would be a perk to see him in the pasture if I did ever make it late to feed.

This fly mask is a much better quality than the Super Mask II. The mesh is thicker and the fit is better. The SM II are always too big. This one fits great. It's standing up great to the wear and tear of a pastured horse. And the price is a lot better than the SM II. I will definitely be ordering this again.

Bought two of these one for my American quarter horse gelding and the other for my Appaloosa mare. The mask was a bit too small for my gelding but fit my mare so well I kept both. Mask banding is a chocolate brown. The banding is thick and padded for comfort. It has caused a small rub on my mares brow but adjusting the hook and loop closure has reduced the rub. The hook and loop closure is secure so pasture mates cannot pull the mask off. The closure is short, would better if it were an inch or two longer. Mesh is a nice tight weave to block the sun and bugs. soak or soft brush. Overall good quality and would recommend and will buy again.

One of my Missouri Fox trotters has a small head in comparison to the other two horses that I own. I bought this for him and it fits perfectly. If you were looking for a horse size, it's going to be too small.COB SIZE

Nice fly mask. Looks like it will tolerate lots of abuse. My only critisism is that my mare is a thoroughbred and has a not large head and the horse size barely fits her (900-1200lbs says the box). About 1 to 1.5 inches of velcro overlap & it probably should come a little lower on her nose. But her fieldmates are pretty mellow so I kept it. If I had bought it for my TB gelding I would have returned because his fieldmates and him are rowdier and it would be off in no time.The one I bought has no ears. I like this becuase she gets really sweaty in the ones with ears.

it's not a full horse size as advertised. I should have read the small print; so my fault. I don't know many "horses" who are 900 pounds. Should indicate cob. I'd like to return it I don't have the option on Amazon.

I bought this mask for my stallion. He's the destroyer of fly masks, and what is awesome about this particular design, he can snag it, but it doesn't rip or leave a gaping hole. I would say this mask is highly durable, the velcro is strong enough to hold securely, and the fit is AWESOME if your horse has a baby doll show head. My stallion does have a small baby doll head so I am pleased with the fit. I will add that this mask probably will not fit an average sized head so consider this mask a cob or Arab size if that helps in purchasing. Anyhow, I am very happy with the quality and bought more of these since the price is very fair. CHEERS!!

Very well made but too small for my quarter horses. Better suited to Arabian or cob sized horses.
