Molto preciso l'unica pecca è che il massimo della registrazione è di 9 ore e mezza rispetto a quello che dicevano altri utenti non registra h24 e bisogna trasformarlo in txt per avere una sorte di tabulato il resto tipo grafico lo si trova solo nel programma non è scaricabile e questo è una pecca clamorosa visto che si usa per cause civili nei condomini quando disturbano ripetutamente durante le ore notturne per il resto è un buon prodotto lo consiglio

Item arrived with dead batterys, these meters must be sitting around for a long time. They dont sell many of these and it shows why. Hard to understand instructions and trying set the meter up is a challenge. Windscreen does not fit its so loose it falls off if you tilt the meter in the slightest ,so its useless.Display shuts off during use on A/C power or battery. Not a setting issue just a defective product, best of luck if you need assistance. I had no luck

El equipo cumple por el precio, con mediciones paralelas aparentemente los niveles son correctos, claro que es nuevo ahora, habra que ver al paso de los meses si mantiene el ajuste, funciona el teclado sin problemas, pues en algunas reseñas ese era su principal problema, el software lo uso en una MacBook Pro 2018 con OSX Big Sur, Parallels y Windows 10, lo detecta sin inconvenientes, puedo bajar las mediciones gravadas internamente y configurarlo via software, lo cual es muy practico para evaluaciones hacia el cliente de manera grafica. El único pero hasta ahora es el material del chasis no se siente muy fuerte, no es para uso rudo en campo de construcción, pero para mi caso que es acústica de interiores y cabinas de TV y Radio, operandolo sin golpearlo creo funcionara bien.

Would give 5 stars but the backlight and fast/slow buttons stopped working almost immediately. I initiated a return - I will update the rating based on the results of the exchange.

Hand held, easy to use. We wanted to check noise levels of every day things (lawn tractor, generator) and it gave us a very quick reading.

This is a terrific little sound level meter for the price. I works well; however, the manual is not complete. For example, I have to connect the meter to my Windows 10 PC, open the NoiseLogger Communications Tool, set the parameters, and hold down the On/Off button on the meter while I disconnect the meter from the PC. Then I can move the meter to the location where I want to measure the sound levels. If I don't hold down the On/Off button on the meter while I disconnect the meter from the PC it shuts the meter off and stops recording.

I was looking for a sound meter for setting up my surround sound system. dB-C weighting was important, as this covers the whole audible sound spectrum, allowing my subwoofer to be measured (dB-A weighting, rolls off in the upper bass).This unit has dB-A and dB-C weighting, so the best of both worlds. Fast and slow "polling" is also selectable. Slow averages the reading over a 1 second period, which helps reduce the reading from bouncing around.The unit can be connected to a computer to collect the readings (and monitor the readings) but I haven't tried this. This would be good for setting up a sweep tone and plotting the sound levels across the sweep. I may try this later.Display is large and clear and buttons are positive. Backlight works well but the display is adequate without it in normal light.For my purpose, setting up speakers to output the same level at the listening position, this is more than adequate. The tripod screw socket is also a nice touch. It also comes with a zip-up cloth case.

I bought this because I needed to log noise. The tool is very easy to use the software could use improvement. Also in this day and age there should be a package dowloadable via URL vs an actual CD. Lots of computers no longer have a optical drive. The other thing how is it not available for Apple Mac OS users?! The market is now at 30% Mac users and 48% Windows. I had to use my Virtual Machine to use this and worked great. The software UI is a bit complex for the average user. Overall great price.

The meter seems to work correctly and appears accurate but I won't know for sure until I buy a calibrator. The CD loaded on the first try and connected to the meter effortlessly. If a person has experience operating ANY sound level meter, this one should pose no difficulty. I would definitely purchase again.

There is one issue which will render this product "obsolescent" after 2 years. There is a battery inside the unit on the motherboard (probably to maintain the time when powered down). Of course, after 2+ years it fails and the unit can no longer remember the time making any recordings start from hour zero...So, great value for 2 years, but why on earth would you put a battery on the motherboard which holds the time? It is either that, or the product has failed for me. I'll attach a photo for you to decide.

I needed a way to record some sounds and noise and have a "record over Time".I searched for a sound meter that RECORDS dB vs TIME STAMP....ie...REAL DATA.I FOUND it for $44 bucks. THIS unit. The SLM-25.If you are too bored, or overwhelmed at SLM-25...stop reading.IF..you are technically sound...no pun intended...KEEP reading.OK...bought the unit b/c it has "recording".....other units just give "max dB"...which is ok...but DATAis better...THIS UNIT gives Data...dB vs time...vs GRAPHICS vs....OMG how can 44 bux be SO COOL.Product: Comes with the unit...sponge top for wind...XLNT zip carrying case....USB cable...instructions (Essential) a 2-bare wire with a plug "wire"....a warranty AND the smallestcompact disk you'll ever see....it's so small....like 2 inches...that you might just throw it away...DON'T....it's as much a CD DVR as anything....they just saved on plastic...and shipping width.Installation: Put the "tiny" CD into your CD/DVR reader.....the hole will fit....but you'll thinkit won't work b/c you've only seen CD's the size of a Bagel...get over it.Click Setup...find it if it doesn't come up...installation....Install...Click on desktop icon...Follow instructions..etc...plug unit in on USB...communication....connect..Unit is ON when USB connected....OFF when unconnected...but can be turned on unconnected.Screen will show "real time" readouts...when connected....Set parameters....try 20 readings at 5 seconds...gives like a minute 40 of readings...NOTE: you have to "set parameters" EACH time you record...even if you don't change parameters.Unit will say "rec" when recording...screen "recorder" counts up records...unit says "FULL" when full...You can choose as few as 20 records at one second intervals...up to a ton of records for a ton of time.Click Download for the record recorded...name it...etc..Damn thing will come up with a "text" listing of your data vs time vs reading number...AND a professional level Line graph of your recording...You can export to Excel or to Text.....I'm using old Excel tech..old laptop...windows Vista..so Excel was tricky...but do-able. I've routinely stacked data recordings into one Excelspreadsheet to compare "sound" conditions tests. First simple test conclusion...single test."A Wall can block up to 20- 40 dB of Low E and High E Guitar strings"....82 Hz & 330 Hz.Minor CON drawback.....YOU NEED a Laptop THERE when you record...ie...if you hit record..and disconnect USB....no more record....SO, you need to take unit...AND laptop to where you want to record sound.Another $41 sound analyzer "Reviewer" said he could "disconnect" after"recording start"....but I'm skeptical.....it's a minor nit...laptops have batteriesand are DESIGNED to go anywhere.This product worked AS WELL and BETTER than I thought it would.I now have a "sound analyzer/recorder" for life...at the cost of $44...and cost of 4 AA batteries "whenever"....Lastly: I won't use the "exposed wire" analog item...but I won't throw it away either.- Customer Cool 10/18/19
