I had to get a voltage converter because my home is 220 and the compressor is 110 volts and it had a US style plug and I live in the middle east so we use the European style 220 plug, I cut the US plug and converted it the European plug, hooked it up to the converter and it works like a charm.Im currently using it to paint my model kits and the compact size and quiteness of it makes it great to use in my room(with proper ventilation of course) the already included airbrush is great for what I need it and it's doing a great job at it.Definitely wotlrth every penny.Cheap, quiet, reliable, light, and gets the job done.

Don't buy this product. I bought this to use for my cake decorating business and after two uses the airbrush gun stopped working. Spend a little more and buy a better machine.

Para el precio el producto es bastante bueno, el aerógrafo no es para detalles ya que las líneas no quedan parejas, pero en general está bien si se es principiante o no se quiere detallar.

K.. Sillies out of the way first. This compressor is just so darned cute!! Chubby little body. Stubby little feet. It's just so cuddly!!Recently got back into Gundam kit building. Tried all the methods I'd tried in the past: spray cans and brushes. Not the most effective ways, but they always worked in the past. Bleh. I just wasn't happy with the results I was getting. Buddy of mine suggested I try airbrushing. No way. That stuff's too expensive. What If I don't stay with the hobby?? Turns out that a) it's not that expensive and b) it is quite fun.I ordered this thing last week and it arrived yesterday. 7 days from order to my door. I opened up the box to find a plastic case with the airbrush inside it. My first airbrush. How cool looking this thing is, all shiny and stuff. After that is the air hose, followed by the pressure valve/water trap assembly. Took everything out and made sure nothing was broken. Everything is very well packaged. Oh, there's also a roll of Teflon tape included. Use it.I had a little trouble getting the pressure valve/water trap assembly properly aligned, but with enough Teflon tape I was able to get it properly vertical. Works like a charm. Attach the air hose to the compressor, then to the airbrush. Turn the power on. Voila!! Wait. This thing purrs. Seriously. My dogs snore louder than this little guy. Being able to use this pretty much anywhere is just great.Practiced a bit with plain water, just to get the feel of the brush. I find myself alternating between my index finger and my thumb on the trigger. Both feel comfortable. Don't know if I'll settle on one or the other, but I have the same control either way. Finally, I put some paint through it. It works!! How cool!! It's going to take some practice to become proficient, but using the airbrush to paint is a cinch. You watch the color build as you lay on thin sheet after thin sheet of paint. After a couple of minutes of spraying, the piece looked really nice. No streaks, no bubbles, no over spray at all. And it took very little paint to do. This will of course vary depending on if/how you thin the paint, distance from the piece, etc.. That's where the practice and experimentation come in.So, bottom line?? I very highly recommended this. If you are new to airbrushing and need a place to start, this kit is just what you've been looking for. The price is right, and it works. What else do I need??

I've had my eye on airbrushes for a while now (but wasn't ready to fork out $130 for an airbrush alone before knowing whether I'd like it) and this kit was totally an awesome choice! First off - FAST shipping. I ordered it Wednesday, it shipped Thursday and I got it Friday. Sweet! After a first test, here are my thoughts on this:Pros:-Really great price for a starter kit! I haven't found anything better!-The airbrush itself feels pretty solid in my hands. Nice and heavy and durable.-The compressor also feels pretty solid, and it's also quite small (about the size of a large shoe). I honestly didn't know they made them that small but it's size in no way inhibits its function. It performed perfectly and since it's smaller, it made less noise and it isn't huge and clunky.-The brush itself performed great. There were no splotches, bubbles, hiccups, or whatever else that tends to mess up. The paint lines were nice and smooth and I was very pleased.-For having NO prior knowledge, it was very easy to set up and use!Cons: (this is why I just couldn't quite give it 5 stars)-My main two cons to this kit are first, the "free training book" that they make sound so important is really just a little tiny booklet. It does show you HOW to paint streaks and such but it is quite terrible at showing you how to dismantle and clean your brush which is VERY important! The pictures are black and white and very dark and difficult to see. The same applies to the instruction sheet for the compressor. My sheet didn't even show the same diagrams FOR my compressor, it was for a different one apparently (lol). It's not hard to assemble so not too much of a biggie.-While the airbrush feels nice and solid, there is one VERY tiny piece which sits directly behind the trigger. It helps push the trigger forward when you pull it back. If you dismantle your brush, that little piece becomes completely loose and falls out all the time (and is kind of tricky to get back into place). I don't know if nicer airbrushes are like this but somehow I doubt it. You have to be careful that you don't loose it.Other points:-This kit does not come with any cleaner or paint at all. Might have been nice to throw in some tiny bottles just to start. Not a big deal either way.-The instructions are vague to do this: they say "turn the pressure up to 30 psi" but it really doesn't say how in the compressor sheet. The little round black knob, you push in the center and the outside of it lifts out and unlocks so it can then be turned to adjust your pressure. Pretty dumb and I should probably know that but took me a minute to figure that out.-When you dismantle your brush to clean it, as every one else has said, take it apart and put it back together a few times before you paint with it so you know how to put it back! Pay close attention to how you took it apart because the instructions aren't great. It took me a little while to figure that out.-inspect your brush when you first open it. Apparently my needle cap wasn't screwed on tightly (or at all) and was loose within the box. This mean that the tip of the needle was bare and partly exposed in the box, so somewhere during transit, the tip of the needle was bent completely over.Final thoughts: Despite the little cons I mentioned above, I'm still very glad I bought this! I definitely would recommend it (and I have already) to those who are new to airbrushing as this is an awesome deal! :)
