First off, this really lights up the pool table. I can't believe what darkness we used to play in. If you need light on your table, this is the light to get.Installation takes a few hours. It's not terribly hard, but be prepared with a helper and all the right tools. And do some measuring and math to center the light over the table.What I really hate about this light is the wire harness. Each of the sections (6 altogether) have to be individually connected to the power source using the provided wire harness. And this wire runs on top of the sections and the connections are really hard to get to lay down along the top of the sections, so they stand up. This can even be seen on the product picture. It looks sloppy. And why can't the connections and the wire harness run INSIDE the light, instead of on top? The fact that two connectors simply fell off during installation didn't really help either. They're crimped at the factory but it looks like somebody forgot to actually do that.Then in the product description it even says that the edges may leak light and you can cover them with tape. Seriously, that looks like crap. I think a simple edge protector that looks a little nicer than tape could be included.Overall, the unit may be fine for a basement pool table, but in a nice room, this is not going to be the highlight, just a really bright light. The price to quality ratio deserves 1 star. The light brightness deserves 5 stars.

This light believe it or not borders on being TOO bright! It's really awesome. I have nothing bad to say about it - the only thing I would suggest is that for a residential setting it might be better to have the light a softer white - the light is a really hard white like for an industrial setting. Honestly, I can't be sure that would light up the table as well though.

It appears we got a return or something else went wrong. The parts packages had been previously torn opened and the unit does not work.Very disappointing after a few hours of assembly work.

I built this myself for under 250 bucks. Mine is dimmable and made of brushed aluminum. This is plastic and nowhere near as nice as building one yourself.
