Is excellent excellent paint gun for $30 or less? I am a professional automotive painter over 48 yeand when I tell you it's phrase them new 2K primers, the real thick 1's this 2.0 had. Lays it down beautiful.I have a $180 developers.That's supposed to do the job, but believe it or not.This one smokes it great product.Fast shipping highly recommend and this is coming is from a good source

This is a very good sprayer with lots of options to adjust the pressure and flow and pattern.Overspray isnt a problem.Cleans very easily.I would definitely recommend this.

I have been looking for a spray gun that would work with my 6 gal pancake Porter Cable compressor. I am a professional painter and do quite a bit of spray work on the job but I wanted a smaller, cheaper setup to use around the house. I also did not want to have to fit a big 35CFM compressor in my garage. Most guns will require 10-12 CFM and a big 25-50 gal compressor to really atomize properly but this gun does very well with my small setup. I will say that you need to know what you are doing to get this to work with a smaller compressor. Meaning, you will need to make sure you strain every bit of paint you push through the gun. A small compressor won't push chunks of dirt or debris through the small tip. Strain the paint and also you will need to thin your paint. Clear coats by only 10%, oil based paints by 15% - 20% and heavy latex paints you would really need to use a thinner like flotrol to use this gun. Not really practical to use with heavy bodied latex paints. You would need an airless setup for that. Other than that you can really do a nice job on home projects. Tire rims, mailboxes, HVAC units. metal sheds, bicycles, lamp posts and things like that. Really endless for home projects. This is exactly what I have been looking for and I am very happy with the results I am getting. I do recommend this gun. Just make sure to strain and thin and you are good to go.

Gun is pretty sensitive and works well. Directions are miserable, and in a font that you need a magnifying glass to read.I don't understand why they can't get an English speaker to write the directions. Might be good to try another brand, although many of the imports have the same problem with directions.

This is a great paint gun it is just as good if not better than any namebrand paint gun I have used the fact that they send you a bunch of extra parts for it to rebuild it and to make different spray patterns is amazing the big commercial guns do not even do that. I bought this to paint several tractor implements with and after using it I am super impressed. My projects turned out great and they look great. I am not a painter, but this was easy to figure out, and it was at a very small price compared to what a commercial gun would’ve cost me.

Like the old saying, you get what you pay for. Which can be good and bad.The good: Comes with several tips for different applications. Although I only used the 2.0 tip to spray some Krylon acrylic latex paint (black). I had thinned it out previously, and I think without thinning it the spray gun would have really struggled. It takes a minute to get the settings dialed in, but once it is dialed in then it does an alright job. Keep in mind you are not buying a top of the line spray gun. I only bought this gun to paint some wall panels that have grooves in them. Rolling paint on was a nightmare with those grooves. I have only painted three 4x8 panels. About 1/2 way through the third panel the gun did actually stop working. I am still uncertain as to why, possibly clogged up with paint. I took the gun apart and cleaned it, but have not used it since cleaning.The bad: The factory installed tip was screwed in really tight. I went in knowing this from reading other reviews. All I had to do was put the gun in a vice, put my heat gun on it for roughly 30-45 seconds, and then use the supplied tool to unscrew the tip. I also found that while using the gun you had to keep adjusting the settings on it. But like I had mentioned before, if you know where your settings are set then you can just go back to them to keep it dialed in. Cleaning the gun would have been easier if it had come with some of those small bottle type brushes (which you can easily find). It does come with a small toothbrush that gets the gun somewhat clean.Overall I am pleased with this purchase. Just as long as when I go to use it again it works. Keep it clean every single time you are done using it, just like any other paint sprayer.
