I do a lot of sketching and these are the only erasers I use. They don't smudge or tear up the paper. I prefer the pen shape vs. block, it's easier to handle and more precise.

I love these! and will be buying more in the near future. they definitely make erasing mistakes when drawing immensely easier. and they do a great job at erasing the mistakes. i was so excited about them, i handed a few out to friends and family and they love them too.

The softness is not as useful as I expected ,repeated use over a given area is necessary to accomplish a lighter effect.

These erasers allow me to "pick at" my pencil and charcoal drawings to add highlights. Also, it allows me to clean up lines as well. Very nicely packaged, easy to use.
