This is my primary tabla, and I love it. After seeing it, a friend of mine had to have one too and he got the 22 cm version, which is higher and brighter. I play with oud and ney so I like the deeper tone of the 23 cm drum, still works well as a lead tabla over other drummers because of the unusually wide range of tones vs other makers drums.
