It is a small recorder, heavy for its size but it has many uses, it has a very large recording capacity, many hours, it has many buttons, mp3, voice activation wow, I can also play it on the computer... an excellent purchase.

This is my first digital voice recorder so nothing to compare it to but...I am quite impressed with the functionality, build quality and the company (WUCOTC) itself. The microphone is plenty sensitive for my use and it can be attenuated for voice operated recording.It has a metal housing. Playback is crystal clear. It ships with a nice glossy color manual (small but classy). I couldn't find a digital copy of the user manual so I emailed support and they sent a digital copy. Maybe a link is somewhere for the manual but I couldn't find it. Their email is in the settings on the device under "Contact".I have nothing bad to say about this little electronic marvel (It easily fits in a shirt pocket).

I am thinking of recording the voices of my family as a keepsake. The storage space is quite sufficient. My daughter records it in class and listens to it again at home. And it is quite successful. The sound quality is fine. value for money. Comfortable to use with small size. Recording time is sufficient

I can play back the recording directly from the device or plug it into my computer. Super satisfied with my purchase and will recommend any recording needs. The compact size is also a benefit, and it fits everywhere. All in all, a great product that I will buy again as a gift for my friends and family.

I ordered this voice recorder for a fairly unconventional purpose, and now that I own it I've found several uses for it. The main reason I ordered it was to use as a dream recorder. I've always wanted something on my night stand so that I could record my dreams when I wake up, and by the time I've unlocked my phone and found my recording app, they tend to fade. This voice recorder is super easy to operate even in the dark, and you can even put it on voice activated mode so you don't even need to hit a button to start recording. Since purchasing it, I've also started using it for keeping track of blog and writing idea while I'm out walking. I hate trying to look at my phone screen while out walking (especially in sunlight) but you don't need to see the screen on this device to operate it. Just hit record to start a note. the same button to pause, and the save button to store the note.Recording quality can be cranked down (which will get you 8,000 hours of recording time) or up pretty high (all the way up to 192kbps mp3 or even higher for wav files) to get really good quality recordings. I hadn't thought of this before ordering but a person could use this to record podcasts on the go, especially with the built-in noise reduction turned on.There are a lot of buttons on the unit and plenty of settings to go through, so you'll need to spend a little time (5-10 minutes) learning your way around the device and getting it set up the way you want. Once you've done that, you'll have a nearly limitless amount of recording space ready to capture your thoughts (or dreams!) at your fingertips.
